I get by with 8 gb while even playing games with my 30 tabs open. The task manager can be very misleading about how much ram every process is actually using when it comes to browsers.

I use Host file blocking along with uBlock for years. I've never had a problem.

Manage to get a fake update ad onto Pornhub? You have analysts attention but it's pretty generic so they aren't going to focus on it too hard. Utilize an EK on Pornhub? Now you have EVERYONE'S attention.

Its not entirely a big surprise that their only option was to trick idiots. Didn't even realize I was late from the last post but I guess also made a different point.
