Gross. Just get a tree-styled tabs addon lmao. Makes searching through your 50 tabs so much easier
or just dont have a bunch of tabs open how much ram do you guys even have like god damn
I have 32 GB so I can have as many as I want.

It's really not that RAM intensive. I get by with 8 gb while even playing games with my 30 tabs open.
The task manager can be very misleading about how much ram every process is actually using when it comes to browsers.

even with 4gb you can do the same
I actually see nothing wrong with this, I don't use some fancy tools to remind me about websites that I should check some time later, I just leave them open and push them to the left while having an empty page as the spacer to tell me where the saved tabs end

it's ugly but it works
I use Host file blocking along with uBlock for years. I've never had a problem.
Anyone remember that infected ad on FPSbanana a long time ago? (7 years)
https://gamebanana.com/threads/172772 (Article about it)
Was a drive-by-download (Literally just visiting FPSbanana could infect you) that infected you with a bootkit inside the master boot record which mean't it was pretty much impossible to remove via conventional methods.
Kinda odd they'd infect a banner ad, and then NOT do some other exploit to infect a user by just visiting the host website.
When I saw the headline I assumed it was something like that, and not something that requires user action (fake update or plugins) to take effect.
Exploit Kits are far higher profile than fake updates. Manage to get a fake update ad onto Pornhub? You have analysts attention but it's pretty generic so they aren't going to focus on it too hard. Utilize an EK on Pornhub? Now you have EVERYONE'S attention.

Exploits like that are hard to come by and if you dont want to take the time finding and developing them cost a lot of money. Its not entirely a big surprise that their only option was to trick idiots.
Didn't even realize I was late from the last post but I guess also made a different point.
so wait, only if you clicked on an ad and downloaded it you have the virus?
