Students berate professor who refused to participate in no-whites ‘Day of Absence’ - Sensationalist Headlines

Some people on these forums look at stuff like this and think "ok well its nowhere near as important as right wing people, trump is in office!" but what these people completely fucking fail to realize is that the problem isnt left or right, it's extremism and polarization in general. These students are propping up trump's support base every fucking time they do this shit.

Thank god this hasn't spread to where I live, the fuck is wrong with people? They say they want equality but this is definitely not that.

Real talk, what the fuck is going on in American colleges and universities? I only hear of this shit from there. Never seen it up here in Canada. And this is from someone who took a program in social service work, the very field of study that coined many of the buzzwords that the regressive left like to bastardize today.

There are hundreds of colleges that manage to function fine without leftwing histrionics and, in this case, brazen racism

This enrages me. Like seriously. You're trying to get rid of racism, by being racist. Black people would get offended if anyone, anywhere, screamed "WHITE POWER" and whoever screamed it would probably get their asses beaten because that is fairly racist. Now there are people who think it's okay to scream "BLACK POWER" seriously, in "protest" of racism. What the fuck And people are taking it because in this era, racism is commonly viewed as only going one way, whites being racist to blacks. People never stop to think that it goes both ways, and the people who do aren't "protesting" at all.

Expel the whole damn lot of them. If there's clear video evidence of them being involved in this nonsense then kick them out of the uni and put a black mark next to their name. Universities are places for education and [I]reasoned discussion[/I] dammit. They're not places for you to scream and chant until you drown out any opposing voices. It's a load of fucking shit that this kind of stuff happens on what feels like a weekly basis now. University administrations really need to step the fuck up and put an end to this shit; it's disruptive to people who are actually attending the institutions to fucking learn something.
