You're hilarious. Best-case outcome we have a case to demand that county retrain its cops.
But the problem remains: There will be many other cops in many other counties who may also fail to act when they should have. That doesn't mean that nothing wrong has happened - it just means that they didn't do their job for whatever reason.

I shouldn't have to say that [I]since people were maimed and killed[/I] - that the cops didn't do their jobs properly - but here I am I suppose.

I've already explained how what they were doing [I]is illegal[/I] but please feel free to ignore it because you want their speech to be free because you'd rather fetishize the First Amendment and keep it 'pure' and 'just as it was written in the Bill of Rights' than accept that the Supreme Court interprets it differently than you do and has a much more nuanced and rational opinion on it.
