Another reason why your local places are better than a big commercial entity. And on that note, support your local chicken shop.
We don't have one, although we have local restaurants with general menus that include chicken items. Tacos however, we have no option for, not even Taco Bell. If you want Tacos, you gotta drive 20 miles or make 'em yourself.
Dude you can fry anything.
People with fried brains can't process that.
A few comments on how bad DHL is but here in Germany they are the only delivery company that has capable drivers that aren't some random hires that are too fucking lazy to even ring the bell. Hermes, DPD all I had was problems with them, DHL hasn't disappointed yet. Guess there is a difference between their commercial delivery and home delivery. KFC is kinda rare here in Germany, so I can't really comment on this crisis.
That note goes so easy on DHL it makes me wonder whether KFC execs are being held hostage Literally 50% of the business has to shut down = "a couple of teething problems" Internationally recognised logistics company fucking up basic shit = "getting fresh chicken out to 900 restaurants is pretty complex! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
They could lampoon them and fuck up a good deal, or continue with the deal which will(likely, given that they switched) save them a ton compared to their old shipping method. They also might be able to leverage this into getting a better deal for life which could increase their baseline by millions of dollars over the next several years.

I remember one unknown one that I had to use to ship a gaming mouse I'd bought. First attempt they sent it to the wrong house, on the second attempt they just left the package on my doorstep without ringing the doorbell. If I can I'll take Auspost every time, but DHL is the next best thing.
Glad the BBC are covering the important news http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-43140836
Man, I heard about that Deep Fried Pizza thing that has apparently erupted down in Glasgow, sounds fucking awful. Funnily enough though, I'm pretty near the birthplace of the Deep Fried Mars Bar and I've never tried one.
Fried Pizza's have been around for an age, used to get them for lunch at school, kids were mad for them. You're better off trying them when you're younger because you don't hate yourself as much afterwards, same for fried Mars bars.

They sent my girlfriends laptop to the repair service with a fucking 45 degree bend on the corner of it. You might as well get your shit delivered by a washing machine. I had a pretty good experience with DHL though, I wish their tracking was as good as TNT (also TNT is faster), but I've had no problems with them so far.

This is why we have such a health problem in America - people relying on fast food to feed their kids. I don't care if it's convenient, you're damning your children to a life of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

Interestingly a few places near me that aren't KFC also reported they weren't able to serve chicken, so I guess this company actually supplies a lot of different businesses both chains and independent.

I tried it last year, it was disgusting :v:

me and my family went to that exact chip shop in stonehaven when me and my gf were up there visiting and got a deep fried mars bar. i only had half but after eating it i felt like my body had doubled in weight and i had a bit of a headache for the rest of the day. really tasty though, sort of like a warm chocolate doughnut. had no idea they legitimately were the first to make it, thought the sign was just some tourist trap rubbish.
So glad this isn't a US issue... Getting some KFC as we speak. yee Pretty damn big shame they switched and cost some jobs. Pretty shit and greedy move that ended up to be a VERY bad decision. They won't be doing that shit again.
