No, you can totally do that, but you'll be called out for having a dumb opinion or unfounded claim lol. That's just how forums work. It's not a safe space.
Just own your opinions rather than back pedaling out of it and going "THE HIVE MIND!!!!!!!!" lIke a child

Fuck off.
He was found guilty, had this weird compulsion to continue acting like an asshole, completely screwed up and now has to go to jail. Stop acting like Shkreli is some poor guy who's being wronged by the system.
This has nothing to do with you going against the flow, this is you going to bat for all the wrong reasons and rightfully getting called out for it.

I just don't want this discussion. That's why I removed it. I've already had one in the last Shkreli thread where we established nobody knew what he actually did wrong. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely guilty of what he's convicted for, but 90% of the guys in this thread don't have a clue about the court process. They just hate him because he's an asshole. They don't know what he did and didn't do. They contradict their arguments every other post. One second stealing rich people's money is fine, the other second it isn't.
I just can't be arsed to go through that shit again. It's annoying and posts like yours are even more annoying.

In a discussion when someone presents a differing opinion, the burden of justifying it falls on them. Its a common fucking courtesy of conversation, so stop acting like a goddamn child and own your position

You didn't even know what I posted. I never said he wasn't guilty.

I know exactly what you posted, it's just up there, and you're calling out the judge for supposedly abusing his powers. How is that not 'being wronged by the system'?
If you don't want this discussion, why are you still posting?
Nice, now I never need to hear about this cunt again

He does make a point of it setting a bad precedent however - but given it'd Shkreli it's hard to feel a great deal of sympathy for the man when considering his smug attitude.
I hope Ethan reacts to this on the next podcast. I wouldn't be suprised being cocky on air and basicely admitting he played the legal system didn't help this idiot's case.

setting a bad precedent of getting in trouble when breaking the law?

He's violating federal law, how do you somehow connect that to 'setting a bad precedent'? Because it was clearly, obviously a joke? Well, maybe he should've actually used what passes for his brain and thought before opening his stupid mouth.

That last thread was you arguing that anyone who didn't like him was essentially in the wrong and just wasn't allowed to find his behaviour disagreeable.

I'd be looking at the legal prescendent over the emotional one.
