Flat Earth memes are the funniest shit, I follow a guy who reblogs a bunch of them and it's amazing
calling it right now, go pro attached to a balloon. then pockets all the rest of the money.
nah dude, gopros are the flat earther excuse as to why those go pro on baloon videos have curvature
I'm not a clever man but if the earth is flat then why isn't the planet tidally lock?
I vote we launch all flat earthers into space.
I'm not a clever man but if the earth is flat then why isn't the planet tidally lock?
because something something magic, according to these idiots.
I don't think we can fucking joke about anything anymore without people taking it as fact and worshiping it.
I vote we launch all flat earthers into space.
Preferably without any protective equipment.
What's the point, even if his experiment proves the earth is round his prior bias will lead him to reject the findings and blame NASA's hologram projector or something.
where are the endless technological and scientific advancements from flat earthers???
At this point I bloody swear that all these anti-science movements were started by Russia, because they're the ones that stand to benefit.
Anti-vax? Make the american populace vulnerable to disease and resistant against proper medicine.
Flat earth movement? Decreased public faith in NASA, weakening US space development.
Anti-intelligence in general? Lower the talent pool that the US can draw from and overall increase vulnerability to propaganda
America has always had the technological edge and Russia knows it. Anti-science is a great way to damage that edge

Publicity.
I had never heard of this guy yet here I am, reading a news article about him just because he decided to start a gofundme over a controversial topic.
this can only end spectacularly
[editline]28th September 2017[/editline]
counter gofundme: spacex flight to send him up there too so he can see with his own (totally not hacked by the government) eyeballs
you saw a round earth through a window? haha, it was a monitor you fool
went out for a space walk? your helmet visor is just a monitor
took off your helmet in space to see if vacuum was a hoax? you were in a vacuum chamber and they put tiny VR lenses in your eyes
we can send short wave radio signals around the globe seemingly further than the signals are capable of traveling in a straight line because of the ionoSPHERE, plane flight paths look like curves on a flat map corrisponding to a straight line on a curved surface, everything in orbit, every astronaut in orbit, the fact that flat earthers were invented in the 1800s as a way to make ancient people look dumb so victorians can feel smug...
ancient people who by the way, knew the earth was a globe
Of course the earth is flat. It rests on the backs of the four elephants which stand on the shell of Great A'Tuin, the giant cosmic tortoise on an inexorable quest that only s/he (It's not really clear) understands.
There was a fifth elephant, but that fell off A'Tuin, whirled back around due to gravity, and smashed into the earth, creating all of our silver and gold deposits.
This much is known.

We have plenty of idiots here, we don't need Russia's help creating dumb fucking movements :v:
The great thing about flat-earthers is, the deeper you go, more off the wall it gets to try "outsmart" actual science.
You think flat Earth is dumb? Wait till you hear about Earth being inverse bowl with raised middle section that's constantly rotating and going upwards :v:
And as always, I have to post this simply because it's 6 hour long video about Earth being flat.

What is with the light switches on those kids' necks? Is it a bomb that blows their head off if they start getting funny "round earth" ideas?

Nah, look at education trends for students in the last few decades. The US didn't need help making dumbasses who are gullible enough to believe in a flat earth. "Magnets man, how do they work"
The flat Earth belief has grown in popularity recently as a result of high-profile celebrities and athletes supporting the belief the Earth is flat.

Tila Tequila
I vote we launch all flat earthers into space.
Nah bro fuck those guys, I wanna go to space, why should idiots get to go just for being stupid?
What is with the light switches on those kids' necks? Is it a bomb that blows their head off if they start getting funny "round earth" ideas?
they look like bionic implants? They got some kinda weird circuitry up and down their arms too but only 3 of those 4 things visible have the green thing. they must be too woke
Sounds great, there's definitely cheaper ways to detect if the world is flat, but I wouldn't stop the guy if it finally creates some solid proof for flat-earthers.
I can't tell if you're joking or not :frown:
The saddest part about Tila Tequila being on that list is shes just doing it to desperately try and remain in the spotlight. Releasing several sex tapes didn't work, so she tried neo-Nazism and flat earth-ing to desperately try and be famous again.
Let's start a gofundme to shoot flat earthers into space.
On May 6, 2016, Nguyen tweeted that Jewish-American political commentator Ben Shapiro should "be gassed and sent back to Israel" and later posted that "There are only two things in this world, for which I would gladly sacrifice my own life; the destruction of all Jews and preservation of the white race"
ok wtf
ok wtf
Wait, how is she white?
Wait, how is she white?
Shes white in the sense shes posting bullshit for publicity's sake.

I love the irony of this post

How? I'm not pulling this out of my ass.
In the news I've seen Ukranian ammo dumps conveniently beginning to explode since the Crimean annexation, election hacking, and paid trolling. With my basic understanding of modern Maskirovka, I honestly find plausibility in the idea that Russia has been in a perpetual state of long-term psychological and sabotage warfare.

It just doesn't apply in any way in the case of flat earthers.
Flat earth belief has more to do with the political structure of the US, and lots of them are heavily religious.
You're pretty much saying that there's like a conspiracyception going on here, where the conspiracy theorists themselves are the conspiracy. v:v:v
Most conspiracies can be refuted by asking why. So who exactly benefits from the earth being flat? Globe salesman?
