Lotta games coming out soon for the PS4, along with some older exclusives they could play. I don't think this is the sole thing influencing their decision, but playing it earlier is probably a nice bonus.

Something that always bothered me about Spyro games is that Spyro can fly on bonus stages but can only glide on normal stages. Why tf do I have to do platforming if my character can fly

*Pushes up glasses* Well, you see, the flying ability is a magical power-up that Spyro can use if he finds it or is in a special area. In the majority of the game it is not active.

That's the point of the plot though. Spyro is the lame dragon, but spoiler all the dragons get frozed and you have to save them proving you actually arent lame at all. It's basically the Reno 911 movie if you ever saw that.

My sister and I grew up playing Spyro: Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon on our original PS1, would love to see a release on PC.

The nostalgia factor is real.

Since the trailer says PS4, and Xbox I'm thinking hes wrong about the timed exclusive bit.

But since there's listings for Spyro on Nintendo's store its pretty well possible it will be there.

Spyro was as much a part of my childhood as Crash, so I am overjoyed that both are being brought back in the form of fantastic remakes.

I am relieved that they are using his original style and not his Skylanders appearance. Spyro Year of the Dragon was one of my favorites on the original PS1 and I can't wait to play the remakes.

Oh well, like with Crash, don't own a PS4, so either PC when I get a new one, or Switch, once I get it for Smash and Pokemon reasons...
