Greggs apologizes after replacing baby Jesus with sausage roll

If the title didn't mention it, I would have thought it had something to do with circumcision.
I can think of quite a few religions and religious people that wouldn't appreciate their important figures being replaced with a sausage roll other than Christians. Just not usually a good idea to frivolously borrow such imagery if you want good publicity points, but hey, they got noticed anyways.
Would have been better if it was the three wise men delievering sausage rolls to baby Jesus.
Gonna have to second this.
Not that I don't find it funny, I do, it's great.
But if it had been done around a muslim holiday and replaced or represented Muhammad as a glazed donut, it probably wouldn't be seen as cheeky fun.
PS, Sayers does better sausage rolls.
Boo fucking hoo.
If you get offended over pictures of sausage rolls some sort of crybaby-support-squad should burst through your door and force you into a diaper.
haha is there like a company that would actually do this? what would their name be if they existed hahah
I'm deeply offended by this.
Come on, it's not even Thanksgiving yet. Give us a month before running this ad.

People get upset when someone makes a bad joke about gay marriage, or transgenderism. Like boo-hoo it's just words on the internet crybaby.
If something has a lot of meaning to someone, and someone else does/says something that might be distasteful to it, then they have every right to be upset about it especially if it was done explicitly with the intention of malice.

So a human being is born, a little wrinkly ball of utter weakness. And your plan for it's future is to pour weakness on top of that. Where we train people pavlovian-style to break down when confronted with certain sounds and pictures.
I'm not saying we protect shitheads who want to stomp the heads of gays, i'm just saying we don't loose our shit at the merest suggestion. I promise you that growing some hair on your tits will make society run smoother.
But do as you like of course, I just like things that are crass. And i don't want to be protected. And if someone wants society to coddle them and wipe their hurt little fee-fee bumsies- they are fucking wimpy to me and i'm turned off respecting them.

What part of asking for a little respect to something they believe in is asking for society to coddle them?
And there's a fine line between something you should suck up and something that you shouldn't If you take offense to everything that's bad as nobody can say anything without offending someone, if you suck everything up, that's bad as it can lead you to being constantly bullied/abused.
Something like this I feel is a legitimate complaint, as it's obviously done in bad taste.
