Kfc Isn't cheap at all the fuck you chatting mate? My local grocery has cheaper and better fried chicken. Best cheap fried chicken I ever had was from Tesco. Albertsons here in the US comes a close second.
Woo Albertsons!
This is like Job Simulator but with much higher production values
I'd be surprised if we find out that the job simulator team didn't make this for them.
Aus KFC is pretty good too, dunno why USA KFC is so shitty.
Same - in India, KFC actually isn't that bad. Expensive by local standards, but actually pretty great. Also, because of India's mostly vegetarian tastes, it's absolutely hilarious that KFC (like most other fast food chains) has adapted to make a more vegetarian-friendly menu. So you end up going to a chicken place.....to eat vegetarian food. :v: For example, this is a Paneer (cottage cheese) zinger, which you're unlikely to find outside India:
That actually looks good. For KFC.
Mind you, they actually aren't that bad here at all - the thing is, here in India all of these fast-food restaurants are actually quite expensive compared to local fare and while not as a new, are still something of a novelty. As a result, they're often treated as well as a sit-down restaurant, so people actually dress up to go to a KFC or a McDonalds or a Taco Bell (unlike the one I went to in Las Vegas, some dude showed up in what appeared to be his skivvies :v:). None of them serve beef, just chicken/fish and have half of their menu dedicated to vegetarian meals. It's quite bizarre. Do you know what a Big Mac is called in India? It's a McMaharaja. I'm not even kidding. :v:
I'd be surprised if we find out that the job simulator team didn't make this for them.
They probably didn't because you don't get shoved below the play area 5 minutes in. At least that was my experience playing Job Simulator. And before you say I am having tracking issues I have played other VR titles for much longer and have had no loss of tracking.
Realtalk KFC is overpriced as fuck
In Canada and probably other countries, there was something called the Toonie Tuesday special. For $2 Canadian, you'd get 2 pieces of chicken and small fries in a box. It was great. Fast forward several years later and it's now called the Tuesday Special and the price has went up to $3.29. Pieces have gotten smaller and the fries has gotten shittier. I don't eat at KFC very often anymore but I used to years ago.

Somehow, even in my memory growing up in Dubai, it used to taste so much better than it does now.
Aus KFC is pretty good too, dunno why USA KFC is so shitty.
Probably has to do with differing country standards.
Didn't a former Koch brothers employee do this as well?
Here in Czech Republic we have McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Burger King and bunch of other stuff, and KFC is reliably the fucking worst of them all. The food often smells awfully of rank oil. It's regularly burnt. It's fucking awful 3/4 of the time.
Haven't had KFC in years, but they used to have an awesome big box meal that came with some of every kind of chicken they had (classic, tenders, popcorn chicken) as well as 2 sides and a biscuit. Seems like that box isn't there anymore, sadly. I actually think KFC was the first to do "box meals"? Then Taco Bell and Pizza Hut started doing similar deals.
There was this limited menu time called KFC Salted Egg Yolk Chicken, which came in either a rice meal or a sandwich form. It was pretty good, the egg yolk coating really goes well with the chicken and enhances the flavor overall
KFC is okay here, from what i know KFC fails in their homeland and excels or does pretty okay everywhere else. I mean in Japan, the KFC Christmas Diner is something that gets sold out all over the country since it became such a tradition.

The extra 1.29 is expected.

Oh, and I guess the KFC VR experience is pretty cool too.
No please my greasy cheap chicken. Don't ruin this for me
If the employees of any food facility are getting minimum wage, I can promise there's something going on there would make you never eat there again. I've heard some horror stories from health inspectors. like that there's mealworms in the engine compartments of the dough machines at all of our local Casey's. (I don't know what kind they use, so that pic is one I'm familiar with)
Is a man not entitled to the chicken in his bucket?
No says the man in Popeye's, it belongs to the poor No says the man in Church's, it belongs to everyone No says the man in Chick-Fil-A, it belongs to god
I swear they must have lifted this whole idea from that Community episode: I'm actually surprised this hasn't been posted yet.
KFC can afford to pay for Oculus Rifts but will still pay its workers minimum wage
yeah welcome to retail hell.
If the employees of any food facility are getting minimum wage, I can promise there's something going on there would make you never eat there again.
They are, and there usually is. Most of the time it's the barely-out-of-high-school kids in the back not wearing gloves or washing up like they're supposed to, or neglecting to change fryer oil, shit like that. Or, ya know, just goofing off in general. They all pay near or at minimum wage. It's a shit job that nobody ever wants to do. Turnaround is ridiculous and even managers make a pittance at best. I mean, shit, if the manager's only getting $10-$15 an hour, how much you think the 'I've been legally old enough to work for three weeks now' fry cook is getting?
I heard you need to pop the kidneys out of the chicken at KFC when you work there😰 [editline]24th August 2017[/editline] Minimum wage is above 10 dollars here cant imagine getting less
You're bringing back bad memories of my time doing fire alarm inspections. I always dreaded having to move any equipment to get to ansul test switches. Worst was when I took the cover off one and hundreds of dead crickets fell out. (At a McDonald's inside a WalMart
Those weren't crickets, those were cockroaches. I've been to a restaurant where they turned their fire alarm system completely off because they had cockroaches constantly setting them off.
No please my greasy cheap chicken. Don't ruin this for me
I don't know about Canada, but here KFC is quite a bit more expensive than other fast foo places. It's not exactly good either.
