Sounds expensive
Needed for Falcon Heavy apparently: Also better for reusability:
That's one reason I love how this is done so much. Not many companies have CEOs that openly answer questions on twitter personally about the companies work. The ability to get specific insight into different parts of a rocket or changes actively over the internet and get a response (and by the CEO no less) is just such a cool concept to me.
Iridium launch livestream should be starting in 30 mins or so I immagine. [editline]25th June 2017[/editline] SpaceX FM is up now. [editline]25th June 2017[/editline] B-roll
Fog horn leg horn. They must be vaping too much in California.
Guess we will see how good those new grid fins are since it's windy at JRTI's location. [editline]25th June 2017[/editline] Don't be surprised if the landing fails:
I'll lose my shit if both landings are successful this weekend given the low chance of success they have/had.
Guess this will be a good trial for the new gridfins.
Here we go...
That far away view/camera is incredible
Feed says boostback.. heh
YEA BOIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck aced it [editline]26th June 2017[/editline] Look at that swell!!
That was nice to see the landing all the way down from the first stage without any serious loss of signal.
Glad they got the old guy back in, never liked the new guy.
It's so easy to get lost in the scale, because of how the camera makes stage 1 look "normal" size and how quick it goes from launch, space to landing. But then you remember it is like 70 metres tall, and that you can watch it all in real time. Incredible shit.
This was worth getting up at 6 AM to watch, Always enjoy these live streams
John Insprucker is the man
So proud.
Man that ship was really rocking holy shit
Curious, did anyone see it sort of plop down?
Curious, did anyone see it sort of plop down?
Homie from work said it slammed into ship very hard but it's fine.

All sats deployed. Total success if they all check in okay.
What a weekend. Next launch on July 4th.
Ban Rifleman if rocket fails agree/disagree?
I guess he's not getting banned him after all!
What a weekend. Next launch on July 4th.
That's one hell of a fireworks display
