Man, all we need now is some kind of co-op support. I'd fucking love to play through Postal 2 with a friend.

I know you guys lost the original art assets for Postal 1, but do you guys still have the actual game sources?
I know you guys lost the original art assets for Postal 1, but do you guys still have the actual game sources?
How can you lose the art assets for a game that has hundreds of copies still floating on the internet? You can just rip them from the game.
Think they meant the uncompressed art.
thats a bingo
Holy shit I know it's a small detail but I love the new Cop Cars they are a major improvement and even make the game look newer.
I'm really enjoying the fact that the RWS forums have child-safe boards.
Oh man, found this in the back of my drawer. I remember writing down cheat codes cause i sucked at video games [sp]but it turned out that i kept choosing the hardest difficulty cuz it sounded cool lol[/sp] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/cEM6Dzp.jpg[/thumb] I heard the devs were giving out digital copies to those who owned Postal 2 previously or was I mistakened/misinformed? Because I was going to buy a copy to give away since I got $2.65 from selling cards (before the price goes back up) so I could spread the love~ Else buy it for myself and feel bad for being poor :< This game seriously deserves more buys
I found my Apocalypse Weekend poster that I have no room to hang up, the only time I was ever able to find a copy of Postal 2 in stores [thumb]http://uppix.net/u8cx67.jpg[/thumb]
So what drugs were the devs on while making postal 2
So what drugs were the devs on while making postal 2
they were high on fun
So what drugs were the devs on while making postal 2
I think a safe bet is "all of them".
haha, good ol' Unreal 2.0 tech. (still good for what it is considering)
I was always curious as to how you guys ended up using UE, it's a perfect fit for the game as far as feel goes and I'm guessing Karma and UnrealEd/UScript were big factors in picking it. Were any other engines of the time like Lithtech or iD tech ever considered?
Anyone got any idea if the original AW7/A Week In Paradise mod works?
It doesn't.
It doesn't.
Well that's a shame. Hopefully the mod update guide comes out soon so I can return to being Revolver Dickalot by blasting people in the gut with the revolver and pissing on them.
Speaking of updates, I found in the Share the Pain folder the files for the SMEG shotgun from AWP
i have a hard on guys.....
-snip-
Come here so I can resolve that problem.
youd better be a guy!
they were high on fun
My dealer doesn't sell that kind of fun :(
Like Layne Staley would say- Stick your arm for some real fun.
I love going into Tora Bora when I first start and ask the terrorists for their green card with extreme prejudice
Does the dog's bark sound like someone trying to imitate a dog, or should I grab some hearing aids?
youd better be a guy!
what do you do for a living as of now?
Does the dog's bark sound like someone trying to imitate a dog, or should I grab some hearing aids?
It's probably someone that Champ ate - Champ is secretly The Thing
I know you guys lost the original art assets for Postal 1, but do you guys still have the actual game sources?
We still have the source code, sure! Will probably open source it one day. [editline]17th December 2013[/editline]
I think a safe bet is "all of them". If you guys were going to make a new Postal game (maybe you are who knows), what engine will you use, would you go with Source like P3 or kick it somewhere else?
If you ever make Postal 3, and you decide to include coop mode... Could you maybe hire both postal dude voice actors, and have the story be that Player 2 is postal dudes cousin and/or former accomplice in crime who's been kicked out of his house by his ex bitch? It would be a nice way to give both sides of the fans what they want, a way to give both voice actors a chance to prove their worth, and a nice way to naturally explain the voice and personality change between games
