I am pretty sure the entire game was outsourced. for awhile on the official RWS forums the postal 3 section header was "Akella's Postal Spinoff" or something like that.
RWS doesn't even consider Postal 3 to be Postal 3
What I read was that Postal was a huge success in Russia and there was a lot of demand for another game so RWS gave it to a company that worked in Russia and they fucked it up

This is awesome but I'm marginally disappointed. They took out some of my favorite things. For example, in the original AWP mod you were able to get a machete right away in the starting shed, and there were playable arcade games. Those parts of AWP weren't implemented.
I adore Postal 2 and now that they added achievements?
I'm going to get every single one of those fuckers.

I feel like I own this game but I'm not sure why. Was it in a humble bundle? I have the original CD but I doubt the key registers on steam

On second thought, it makes sense for them to change them around. The Fag Hunter arcade game was ludicrously overpowered because it gave you an entire arsenal of rare and powerful weapons within 5 minutes of starting a new game, and the starting machete is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. These two things took out a lot of need to explore to find new toys, which is one of the best parts of the game.

Man this is cool as fuck. Postal 2 was one of my favourite games, such a good stress reliever. I wish more company's who brought old games to Steam did this. Age of Empires 2 adding a fan expansion as an actual expansion pack to the game is another example.
Toploader is pretty cool and answers just about every question posted in the Steam discussion page. So many of us were passing the time in there waiting for the update to land.
Really looking forward to the Workshop being added.
God damn it, I bought this on Gamersgate but it doesn't come with a steam key :(
Still haven't downloaded it though so maybe I can get a refund.
