mannn fuck that shit. if i'm gonna be put under the knife it has to at least give me super strength or an eight inch cyberdong
Typically the RFID implants are small capsules delivered by (large) syringe in the space between the index finger and thumb.
RFID chips have way more use than just a bus pass. Imagine never needing keys to unlock doors, you just swipe your hand over a sensor and bam, in you go. The only time they're an issue is when your had gets severed, but I don't think you'll be taking your car in that situation. [editline]2nd July 2017[/editline] It also has the added benefit of freaking out idiots who think they control your mind and shit, those people are beyond goofy.
i don't lose my keys nearly often enough to warrant paying for an operation to inject a chip into my hand, which i'll have to pay even more money to surgically remove once it stops working or becomes obsolete
I have no clue what's mass transit like in Sydney but in my experience with Prague, unless you happen to be some sort of badly antisocial person who simply can't handle sitting next to other people for a few minutes, for anybody living anywhere in the inner city, mass transit is much more convenient and significantly faster than trying to go by a car, and Prague's metro area isn't even THAT well developed. In our family of 5 with parents we have 3 cars total among us and everyone still has a prepaid mass transit card because trying to go everywhere by car would be complete lunacy. Mass transit is fantastic and the idea that it's just for poor people is terribly backwards.
Mass transit is probably why NYC is my favorite place to visit. The idea that pretty much anywhere in the city is able to just be walked to? Lunacy. Where I live you have to take a car just to get next door half the time.
Future updates and iterations to cards making these obsolete just makes it seem completely pointless tbh, unless he's going to inject a new chip every single time it changes but at that point he'd be 50% silicon

They want em as close to the surface as possible since humans are surprisingly good at blocking radio waves :v
I bet this clown feels like a right dill.
Sydney's Opal cards could soon be superseded as bank card trial begins. Sydney's Opal card could soon be superseded, as a new trial paves the way for commuters to tap on and tap off public transport using their bank cards. The service will not only accept debit and credit cards, but also a mobile device linked to one of these accounts, including smart phones and Apple watches. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-07-06/opal-card-could-be-useless-after-bank-card-trial/8685598
Newsworthy in itself is the story of how a man could come to be known as Meow-Ludo Disco Gamma Meow-Meow.
I bet this clown feels like a right dill.
Maybe to accommodate for the bank card swiping thing (if he's travelling abroad in places where chip and pin haven't come in yet), he can have just the bar strips implanted between his knuckles and become a sort of banking wolverine :v: [t]http://static.srcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/wolverine-claws-poster-for-x-men.jpg[/t]
I bet this clown feels like a right dill.
Then he'll take it out and replace it with another one. If you know how, these biohacks or whatever they call them, are really easy to implant. The chip is coated in something the body doesn't mind nor absorb, and then it's just inserted in a small cut near the base of your thumb (If I recall correctly). It's an operation that doesn't really require much skill, time or money.
