if 'its on a larger scale' then its not really the same is it
1 or a thousand its still the exact same thing; a threat made anonymously that would never be carried out, or be made in person. The worst thing these people would do is have pizzas delivered that she didn't order. My whole point is that these ass holes have been around as long as we've been able to communicate anonymously on the web. Their amassing on social media and being assholes is nothing new. Writinf articles about these ass holes does nothing but justify their voice.
Who the fuck looks at a little kid and says yeah he should die because muh taxes? The population of the US is 321 million the cost of the procedure is 231 115 231,115/321000000 is = 0.00071998442 literally 7 ten thousandths of a penny per person to save this kids life my math is probably wrong though
The US has approximately 126M FULL TIME working adults age 15-64. This doesn't include part time workers (potentially people with multiple part time jobs) or workers over 64. If only the full time workers paid for this kid in taxes, it would have cost.... [t]https://puu.sh/wF9Bk/65af4a8d10.png[/t] Not even two tenths of a penny. And of course income taxes are far from the only tax income the federal government gets, so the number probably would be much closer to yours.
those fucking greedy ass people who would say their penny is worth more than someone's life there's legitimate evil in this world i hope they choke on a penny
those fucking greedy ass people who would say their penny is worth more than someone's life there's legitimate evil in this world i hope they choke on a penny
Honestly I know a few people like this and they don't see it as giving a penny to save someone's life, they see it as someone forcibly taking their money that they worked for.
I'll never understand how some people can be so fucking dumb that they don't understand taxes
It's mostly shortsightedness. They themselves may or may not actually see any immediate gain from it thus they see no value in it.
Don't you spend less on healthcare taxes than you do on insurance lmao
The only difference is that its on social media as opposed to a video game. Its the same shit only on a different platform. The death threats you receive playing Gmod are just as valid as the ones you recieve over twitter. This is nothing new and nothing worth writing news articles about.
I bet you're the kind of person who'd tell someone who is clinically depressed "Yeah, sometimes I get kinda sad too."
What world do you live in where getting hundreds of death threats is normal?
This one? Because it is happening on a daily basis to quite a few of people, and, mind you, for the mundanest of shit.
What world do you live in where getting hundreds of death threats is normal?
getting death threats is generally the norm if you post anything vaguely controversial online or offend some girl that people like, I know this first hand from experience.
I read stuff like this and am glad to be paying £198 (4.5%) per month in national insurance here in the UK. Sure, an extra £200 would be useful but I try and live within my means. If paying that means someone else can live or have a more comfortable life despite a medical problem, sounds like a good deal to me. [editline]9th July 2017[/editline] A lot of people in the US seem to have forgotten the concept of the greater good and helping your fellow man.

It beggars belief how people can regard themselves as devout Christians who foam at the mouth at anything to do with pro-choice but recoil in disgust at the idea of making healthcare available to all at the expense of slightly higher taxes. It really contradicts the traditional values of charity and I don't understand how these cunts can say that abortion is wrong (especially those who ignore the circumstances as to why) but think it's okay to let kids like the example in the OP die.
I don't see why people are so pathetic to literally go at ill people and say "You're making me pay more taxes". It's not like everyone is forced to pay the full amount. See, making a single person or a small group of people pay a large amount of cash is too much, but if you've got hundreds, thousands of people, if everyone gave a bit of cash, the issue could be sorted out and it wouldn't take as long. That's basic crowdfunding. I believe that the problem nowadays is that people are becoming too narcissistic to the point where they're starting to go morally bankrupt, borderline insanity. You know you've got a severe problem when you tell ill people to kill themselves because you rather have them die than have a small chunk of your payout (even just a penny) taken away. Still, what do these people expect to achieve by telling ill people to kill themselves?
People shouldn't be living in a world where they're afraid of getting sick due to the cost of it, rather than the potential of it being fatal. It's an absolute shame to see how people can take advantage of the sick like this.
America sounds like a worse place to live than some 2nd world countries lol

They just want to stick it to a person and her child who they feel are undeserving of that much in the way of high level healthcare because they think it's too expensive and not worth considering, on top of complaining such things are what their tax dollars pay for. The pathetic part is they'd probably flip right round if it turned out one of their family members had that kind of trouble, because I really don't want to imagine they could be morally bankrupt enough to let them die if they could somehow afford to treat them.
I like(:speechless:) how this devolved from "Hey internet, thank god I have insurance or I'd have to pay this retarded price for my sons medical treatment." to outright having people say he deserved to die and offering her bullets with the implied connotation of killing herself or her son. Fuck people.
America sounds like a worse place to live than some 2nd world countries lol
No you are incorrect
Receiving hostility in like, League or Overwatch is not at all comparable to situations like this. It's a different scale entirely.
you've never 0-20'd a game
I bet you're the kind of person who'd tell someone who is clinically depressed "Yeah, sometimes I get kinda sad too."
Nope. Wanna try a different way to berate me?
You guys are fucked. Really. That's a fucked up health care system. How come there people who still vote the republicans knowing this shit happens thanks in part to them? Come on.
"'cause they'll get dem got-damn foreigners outta ma country!"
nothing is better than kind, generous Christians who care about people but also fume when they spend any amount of taxes on healthcare because 'its going to the poor' [editline]9th July 2017[/editline]
I bet you're the kind of person who'd tell someone who is clinically depressed "Yeah, sometimes I get kinda sad too."
I wonder if he goes up to a man who was freshly stabbed in the throat and points to a cut he got on his finger and goes "Yeah I know how it feels man"
A disdain for the sick or the poor, I imagine. I always found it strange that the conservative right are typically hardline Christians, yet are so often morally bankrupt and unwilling to help their fellow man.
Fucking this, I can never quote this hard enough. My mother is the most devote christian I have ever known; constantly considering everything to be a act of god and that we all should act as good Christians. But ever since the election she has swung far right; like radical right. I cannot go a full day without her railing on about free riders on healthcare and how the 'gov'ment' is trying to socialize it all and 'thank god Trump and people sensible are there to kick them off of the free ride." I had a argument with her which amounted to me saying how can she be a good Christian if she insists on taking away the care people need, isn't that what they tell you in church? She tells me I don't understand and that Obamacare is socialism and such is sin; hence we need to downscale healthcare immediately; those who depend on it are 'abusing' it. I cannot wrap my head around this. "Love and help thy neighbor" suddenly became "they are lazy and free riders so we must get rid of them'. By the way she also believes in the deep state shit and thinks being a liberal is the same as being socialist=communist=devils. Hell, she has a unhealthy obsession with the election; she has watched Fox's news coverage of the entire election night; every last minute. I once saw her looking it up on CNN and she told me it was to see their faces when their agenda blew up. Its safe to say the only new site allowed to broadcast here is Fox News.
The mindset that a child isn't worth keeping alive would make sense- if we lived in a poor tribal community with barely any resources. We have the technology and wealth to keep this child alive and on top of that have enough tax money to bail out rich people and bomb the Middle East. Like I wonder if we told them how many of their cents were going towards protecting Trump Tower , how would they react?
