it's pretty clear he was ready to be remembered by history, setting up recordings like this basically to be recovered by the cops

The only reason this could happen again in the same manner is if someone decided to do a copycat crime, which is a risk, but not one worth closing half the hotel for.

I'm talking about people renting out this specific room just because a mass murder used it to kill people and died in.

The guy's retired, started thinking about how nobody will remember him in time, and decides to do something really fucked up as a quick way to be remembered forever.
