NSFW *what the actual fuck*
What in the hell, man? What the fuck did this "Joy Lane" do to him to make him think that any of this bullshit was OK? The fucking coward probably singled out that old man because he knew he couldn't fight back, fucking Christ.

Hell, you cant even account for how a sane human being like you and me would react to certain situations. Mental instability can leave somebody feeling detached completely from their actions, insofar as they not only don't care for the consequences, they're past caring for what this means for themselves, even if it means they might die or be badly injured as a result.
Imagine living till your 80s and suddenly some guy walked up to you and ended it just like that.
Is this a new trend for criminals to stream their crimes? First the torture of the disabled guy and now this?
suspect's phone has been pinged in Pennsylvania according to CNN
First time I've seen a video like that. Someone being shot in the head, blood splattered all over the footpath. I hope he gets arrested this guy, holy shit.
Still has yet to be caught
I saw the uncensored video last night, and the news even covered it today what the fuck
if someone's mind is already collected on the thought of murder I feel like live streaming it wouldn't be more of a problem to them.
Because we all know livestreamers are dangersously psychotic. People who commit mass murder usually want attention. The internet is great at giving people attention. Has anyone called him yet? He said he'd stop if his mom or ex called him.
Victim looks like a sweet old man CNN's blaming this shooting on video games, the alt right sites are blaming this shooting on his allegedly being a Muslim, and others are blaming his ex for breaking up with him. If anything can be blamed, it's probably the lack of good mental health care in the US and the victim himself. While I don't condone suicide, I'd rather he had killed himself than that old man. Also, this is one of the only times I've seen /r/the_donald and more liberal subreddits join together to mourn this man, it's nice that people can put aside politics for a moment to mourn
Jesus, that video. The poor guy literally stood no chance. Shooter needs some fucking help but I doubt he'll get that; anyone that tries him is gonna lock him up for life or give him the death penalty. I really shouldn't have watched that video.
Have you seen his YouTube videos? He literally said he'd keep going until someone gunned him down, he's absolved himself of responsibility by considering himself "already dead" and by blaming all of his actions and the deaths on his ex. In his mind his ex might as well be pulling the trigger herself and using him as a mediator. He's too far gone, he should have been helped before any if this happened it's too late.
This man needed help long before any of this happened. It's our failing as a society that he was allowed to get to this state without getting the medical attention he needed.
This man needed help long before any of this happened. It's our failing as a society that he was allowed to get to this state without getting the medical attention he needed.
Not only that, he was an employee at a children's behavioral health center.
This man needed help long before any of this happened. Or what is even the fucking point of bringing this up?
suspect's phone has been pinged in Pennsylvania according to CNN
Shit, I guess he's in my state now. I'm surprised he hasn't been caught by now.

One that's unlikely to seek help, that (by the way) IS available to him should he have tried. By admission in one of those videos, he has killed at random before, he just wasn't "keeping count until now". He refers to himself and his actions as the monster that was inside all along, and this excuse that he brought with him to this massacre seems like a loose attempt to justify something he just...wanted to do. Sometimes, people are just killers. They are twisted far beyond repair, and if talking so normally about having killed 13 or 14 people in that video isn't proof enough of how rotten his mental state is then I don't know what is. It's hard for people to accept or even understand because it operates outside their framework for how they see the world, but this man wasn't failed by society. He failed society by knowing what was inside, and not doing something about it before it took over. He was the only one that could have stopped this. *EDIT* He blames his mom for rejecting him, and his ex too. I can't imagine the pain of being rejected by my own mother. I just don't know, how can that be an excuse to malevolently end strangers lives like that. It's just too complex, maybe nobody really knows. Maybe nobody can know.

I only care about the family of the victim. I hope they find piece, and the murder gets caught.
First time I've sent out feedback to a news network... was civil, but made my concerns clear. Hopefully my jab that I doubt they'll respond because they'd have to use real thought to explain their actions to me, rather than choose an easy cop-out, will get 'em talking. Doubt it, though. I'd recommend everyone to fill out a feedback form, as well. If enough people call them out... maybe, just maybe, something could come from it. I'm so sick of "journalism" and the lack of any real research into anything. Fucking lazy.
It's chilling how nonchalant he was in the video talking about the alleged other killings. He needs caught before someone else gets hurt or worse.
sooner the cocksucker gets gunned down the better.
sooner the cocksucker gets gunned down the better.
He really needs to be caught alive, as much as I want justice for that old man as well. He needs his mental state evaluated and we need to know more about everything. If he's shot dead on the street or kills himself, then the rampant bullshit spewing out of the media will only get worse, and will just be accepted as fact.
Usually against death penalty but I think this is one of those cases where I completely agree that he needs to be burned alive

I just watched the video. I hope he gets the death penalty. Sick fuck doesn't deserve to live.
You're either for the death penalty or not. You don't get to make exceptions whenever you feel like it. Every thread about killers/rapists/etc has someone saying something along the lines of "I abhor the death penalty and I think it is barbaric. Buuuttt, this case made me extra-mad so flay the fucker." If you're against the death penalty but think that very severe cases should get it, then guess what? You are for the death penalty. I'm not saying that I think he should or should not be executed. I'm saying stop being hypocrites.
sooner the cocksucker gets gunned down the better.
This man is obviously not sane. He needs help. Killing is fucked up but his mind is literally broken.

In cases such as this and similar, I'm all for the death penalty. This scumbag clearly had no remorse in what he did and is beyond medical assistance.
why waste resources on a psycho that's most likely never going to be reintegrated into society
Well there's no accounting for that unless you try now don't you? Put yourself in the place of a man who said his life was so terrible he snapped after one more thing didn't go his way. Not everybody is born so resilient as to withstand all of the bullshit life throws at you, nor does everybody get out of the dark holes life often finds pleasure in putting them in. Then ask yourself: if you walked several miles in this man's shoes, would you be more resilient than he, or would your mind run out of staying power sooner? Have some empathy for poor bastards like this, christ.
Put yourself in the place of a man who said his life was so terrible he snapped after one more thing didn't go his way.
And that's a justifiable reason to go out and shoot innocent people? You mention having empathy for people like this but imagine if this was a family member or a friend. There are a number of victims families, friends and more devastated because one man wasn't "born so resilient" and decided to go out and start shooting innocent people over a supposed argument or, what seems to be a disagreement with a partner / ex-partner.
Regardless of empathy for his situation, I think it's enough to just remember that's a human being just the same as you or me.
