No. We absolutely cannot allow people that we disagree with to be silenced. "We" being US citizens. Protesting is not the same as preventing somebody from speaking. That just makes them a martyr.
Does this include punching people?
Does this include punching people?
People use it to fight against racism so sure why not.
Antifa's flag is a picture of flags? What poor design
They get pissed off if you swap the colors around. [t]http://www.pipedija.com/images/b/b9/Antifa-anarchist.png[/t]
Theres a local blackmetal band thats called Taake, who got their American tour cancelled because the vocalist drew a swastika on his chest(this was a concert 11 years ago and the vocalist explained and came with an apology). Antifa found out about this and threatened fans and venues with violence. This didnt seen like that big of a deal, but they sure start to seem like a group of fascists themselves.
I don't think telling an idiot who tried to get all Social Justice courses shut down on campuses cause they hurt his feelings to bugger off from a campus is really too controversial. Also I know this isn't Polidicks but https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/red-alert-politics/ RIGHT BIAS Factual Reporting: MIXED I'm not quiet willing to believe all of what seems to be a news bubble for campus rightists. Also when their only source is the Ayn Rand Institute
Red Alert has since been absorbed by washington examiner but the articles they had on their own platform were, uh, something to behold
I'm somewhat retarded with philosophy shit, can someone tldr this whole institute thing and what antifa is trying to achieve in this case I tried reading up on the old white guy but I couldn't really see how his views are extreme then again I'm retarded with philosophy stuff so I might had missed out something thanks
So was there any actual violence by antifa here or is this just some hit piece trying to label them as terrorists?
I checked their new site as well and, uh, it's not any better. Most of them are whining about THE GODDAMN MILLENNIALS for random things like not buying into sexism, or how they just won't stop trying to take down trump, who's totally a great president by the way. Also a healthy dose of just shitting on anything left wing including a shitpiece that uses reporting of Christina Hoff Sommers' presence being protested as a thin veil to actually bitch and moan about how hypocritical the left is, conveniently ignoring their own article ranting about how another university invited an ANTISEMITE MUSLIM ACTIVIST OH NO to speak, basically simultaneously making fun of liberals for not understanding the first amendment while bitching themselves that people they don't like get to speak in public.

For example, the other week there was a thread here about a "surge" of the far right in which the article's author, in another piece of hers that she linked, flat out said "We are not asking venues to deny space to far-right events; we are vowing that all far-right events will be bombarded and besieged.". Apparently I was the only person to read the article and the linked pieces because bombarding events, you would think, is beyond the pale for most posters on here. Yet nobody even noticed it, in fact they took the article as gospel and committed the sin of giving someone with violent ideas legitimacy. Fuck me, if you spent half as much time you spend whining, and finding shit to complain about regarding Tudd, looking for this stuff you could have found this yourself.
Is this better? Oh and none of these even show gas bombs and windows being smashed, which was the part people were being doubtful about.

So, where exactly is the violence here? Because all I see is a bunch of antifa members getting shoved around. The black kid knocks the guy's phone down at the end, but he was literally just called a negro so it seems pretty warranted.
gas bombs were lit on campus.

Demonstrators are said to have forced their way into a building before setting off its fire alarm and smoke bombs.
Since I can't find anything else about this; did they actually use gas bombs or did they just make that up? It has been pointed out by others already, but I can't really see any violent Antifa protesters. Seems to me that the most they had done was push/shove a few people and that one guy trying to steal the microphone, however I didn't see them throwing any punches... can't say the same about the other guys though.

And when is the guy called a negro? And how does that excuse violence?
