A similar case I can think of is when Kitty0706 had a successful bone transplant for his leukemia, but the cancer somehow came back and he passed away a few days later.

This is what I'm fearing, and it's VERY likely to happen specially if he doesn't get checked on regularly and guard is let down.

Hopefully he can sneak around, be careful not to make a sound and survive this.

He mentioned he cycles 20 km a day. Exercise is probably the very best chance he has against it at this point.

I can't stress enough how important exercise is in life. There's a saying if you don't use it you lose it and this especially applies to your body.
