Konami is allegedly trying to blacklist Kojima and others from the industry - Fuck Konami

Well, I think we all know what's going to pop up at the end of next week's Jimquisition. And it's probably not going to be another "Oh Ubisoft".
But in all seriousness, fuck Konami.
Pride. People care more about Kojima than Konami, and firing him was a massive hit to their reputation that made them possibly the most hated name in the industry right now, especially once people learned of how they treated him. So basically they're doing it to spite him and bury him, because otherwise he is a constant reminder of what they are not and how despicable they are.
Ironically what they're trying to do is just having the opposite effect for them.
Why does a Pachinko company care about what a video game company does or who is a part of it?
Greed.
Pride.
Greed.

Kojima has been slandering the reputation of the great Metal Gear Solid Pachinko series by the fact he is developing games in direct competition to them. In sheer audacity he has decided to make games after being fired is utterly disgraceful when HE should be begging them for forgiveness.
Konami did nothing wrong. They deserve to use their influence to ruin their franchises and attempt to blacklist a developer through backroom means. Who wouldn't?
The pachinko laws suddenly changed right after they murdered their video game studios and now its not the prime earner they thought it was. They are trying to backpedal to video games after realizing how much they fucked up.
Even putting their tarnished reputation aside, how do they expect to do this? Metal Gear was the only thing they had that wasn't struggling to stay relevant before they burned down Kojipro, and now even that has achieved "has-been" status. Are they gonna start over completely as a mobile game company? Because they not gonna be able to come back to the AA/AAA market for a long time.
why is konami so fucking shit?
Can't wait until Metal GearZ or whatever its called flops and Kojima is blamed rather than their decision to use an over saturated genre. And stunts like this.
“You are unfairly sullying the reputation of our company.”
That's rich considering they fucked it up themselves.

Rumor is it was quietly canned after how bad it was received.
every time I'm reminded of the Snake Eater pachinko machine I cry a little because it's so fucking beautiful and SO DESPICABLE
Imagine where MGS would go if sony bought the rights

Kojima will find a way, he has a huge reputation among gamers and developers.
If things turn out real bad, maybe he could move his company in America?

I found this, from May 11. According to Konami's financial results presentation, Survive is still set for a 2017 release

yeah fuck you konami
The reasonings for his firing was a bit understandable.
According to an article I read about what happened intern at Konami, Kojima tried to make the best possible game but kept increasing the budget of the game, going overboard and delaying deadlines all the time. They apparently fired him because MGSV got more and more expensive with Kojima being a bit too irresponsible as the project leader.

It seems a little odd given he's managed to create the entire series to date without that issue. Given Konami's other actions surrounding his firing it just looks like they're totally out of touch and have no idea what to do in the game industry.
This is so childish, oh my god. Fuck you, Konami

A bit understandable, yes. However, their reaction afterwards makes it seem like they always thought of Kojima as a hindrance and a stain on their name.

Yeah that is just way too much and very shady by Konami.
Christ sake, their hatred toward Kojima run this deep that they want to ruin his life?
Just leave him alone already.

We need to find some way to have Konami die in the style of THQ, where all their IPs get auctioned off to the highest bidders. Castlevania, Silent Hill and Metal Gear, three classic big-time franchises, are catching rot from remaining in Konami's fungaloid mitts. Because they are basically mouldy mushroom men at this point, like black mould given sentience.

Sadly, Konami has its hand in way more than just games and gambling
I was willing to give Metal Gear Survive a chance. It looked like it might have potential, despite how dumb it is.
Not anymore.

What else is to be undermined, then? What are the other safety nets that would keep them from having to sell off their IPs?

I think they own gyms or something.
Well then. Sounds like someone needs to muscle 'em out of that field of business, if you ask me.
