Chechnya, not Ukraine. Chechnya is a problematic region in Russia and has been a source of terror ever since they lost their war of independence in the late 90's. Maybe earlier, I'm not familiar with their history.

I'm pretty sure someone will build and set up a service where you can upload photos and have the algorithm analyze it to determine the sexuality, as the author notes state that this was all done using off-the-shelf tools and public data.
