Plenty of people including myself still enjoy screensavers and they still serve a purpose, Macs come with a screensaver enabled by default and it doesn't look like Apple have any plans to remove it. Feels like Microsoft getting rid of something just because they can't be bothered to fix it tbh

It's like having zoom buttons in gallery apps on phones, totally unnecessary.

I mean, because I hated the modern Paint so much, last year I had the old XP Paint program just sitting on my Windows 7 taskbar. No registry bullshit or anything. Haven't bothered with that sort of stuff since I got my new PC in September though.

MS Paint for Windows XP was perfect for pixel art. i had so much fun making sprite edits and custom characters in Little Fighters 2 and Counter-Strike 2D, not to forget the countless abandoned sprite comics and incomplete game maker games lol

There are also 3rd party screensavers that run in the background, so I don't think we'll see a total loss.

NO!!!!!! I'VE USED THIS AS MY MAIN DRAWING PROGRAM FOR PIXEL ART. IT'S SO NICE!!!!! I'm sure there will be somewhere to reinstall it, at least I hope so : ( as weird as it is, this is just one of those programs that really helped me learn to draw with a mouse.
