Again, this is not even scratching the surface of what animators and artists did before, even to their own characters. It's the kind of black humor I honestly expect from artists who aren't as innocent as you think
Shit like this is just an outlet for the artists. When you are stuck working on a cutesy family show all day, drawing those characters killing each other is fun.
I haven't watched Nickelodeon since all the good seasons of spongebob ended up on amazon prime so I thought that they finally stopped Dan "If You Have A Daughter, You Better Hide 'er" Schneider
And the other you have the fucking Incredible Storyboard Jam, where multiple artists have drawn panels of Angelica caressing Stu's testicles and actual incest sex scenes with a two year old, I wasn't joking around when I meant that Eddie Puss doesn't even scratch the surface of what more well known animators have done.
What. You're fucking joking.
What. You're fucking joking.
The only surviving storyboard was the one he posted of the whole ordeal. The others got taken away by Nick staff. It is all true / confirmed. They used it as a way to vent frustrations.
What. You're fucking joking.
Description of the full thing by one of the directors of the show I have learnt over the years that artists in general are perverted, degenerate bastards regardless of gender, age or career focus. Whether it be an animator or an illustrator, they're gonna have a secret fucked up fetish they enjoy drawing.
Honestly, who cares about this guy's shitty comic? It's what he's allegedly done in real life that's the problem.

i think the reason why people are specifically getting upset over chris savino's personal comix is that they're all clearly incest themed from years before loud house, and the central plot it SORTA comes off entirely different when you know the creator of a show where 1 young boy prepubescent boy is surround by his 10 sisters, used to draw incestuous art of a prepubescent boy repeatedly trying to check out his mom's vagina like i can see where you can pull up rugrats storyboards and rebecca sugar's old weird shit but here's the thing: rugrats joke storyboards were made to vent frustration as already pointed out, rebecca sugar doesn't do public porn anymore and she actually DID get shit for it when people found out a few years ago. There's just something extra creepy about the fact that a guy that historically has made art themed like this wanted to make a show like Loud House
I think that looking at content that an artist does in their own personal time for fun and to de-stress (especially after spending all day long creating content for children with nothing even remotely non-safe) as something that could indicate sexual misconduct to be incredible simple-minded. Same thing with calling jokes about a character whose name is a riff on Oedipus wanting to fuck his mom "disgusting". It's a comic. They are jokes. They are not indicative of anything, and if you're getting disgusted over a comic that isn't advocating violence or something then get the fuck over yourself. If he did it, he did it, but these comics do not indicate nor support that. Most artists do this, and if you have spent any amount of time around artists you would realize this. The artist on my floor literally had an entire wall covered in drawings of cats degloved in slapstick-comedy ways after someone asked aloud how many ways it was actually possible to "skin a cat".
Because it appears to be a child trying to get a look at his own mother's vag. That's creepy and disguising.
Welcome to the internet, your complimentary desensitizing is down the hall to the right. I honestly don't know why you're shocked that something like that exists.
Feel free to disagree, but the vibe I get from the first two is that they're trying to be funny and edgy first and foremost, while this Savino thing is just "nah I just fucking love incest"
I mean the name is "Eddie Puss", so it's pretty obviously a play on "oedipus complex". It's a pretty shallow shtick but i wouldn't say that this is some sort of personal fetish thing, just a bad joke with real short legs on it.
[sp] "OUTTA MY WAY YOU STUPID BITCH FRED FLINTSTONE'S HOME" [/sp] Also why does Tommy just start twitching uncontrollably for seemingly no reason?
IIRC there was poison in the drink
IIRC there was poison in the drink
Yeah http://lostmediaarchive.wikia.com/wiki/Rugrats_%22Incredible_Storyboard_Jam%22_(1998_Banned_In-House_Comic)
Yeah http://lostmediaarchive.wikia.com/wiki/Rugrats_%22Incredible_Storyboard_Jam%22_(1998_Banned_In-House_Comic)
It never says that in this
depicts (after Tommy returns to Angelica with the poisoned drink), Stu arriving home before angrily abusing everyone and making sexual remarks to Angelica, while Tommy twitches uncontrollably.
I find Tommy twitching sporadically for no reason much funnier than if he drank the drink.
[sp] "OUTTA MY WAY YOU STUPID BITCH FRED FLINTSTONE'S HOME" [/sp] Also why does Tommy just start twitching uncontrollably for seemingly no reason?
I think he wanted the girl to drink the poisoned drink, rather than the old guy.
Here's a sample of a series of comics he made before Loud House. Can't say I find it surprising.
Personally I've always that comic hilarious in a dumb joke way, but at the same time I can see the creator of that making his fair share of over-the-line sexual jokes/comments.
Managed to make a post from my phone viewing this, great.
