Otaku is a word for people who sit at home all day and watch anime (taken from the word for house because they never leave it). There's an anime with animal girls which is popular for some reason that she's from. Waifu refers specifically to characters from anime that otaku like. The penguin is called grape, kun is a name suffix usually used for boys (or girls if you are an old man), it's normally left off once translated but some people are terrible people and leave that shit in for some reason.
