I grew up in Riverside County and this doesn't surprise me at all. Tons of wackos live there and I'd hear stories like this kinda often.
why is it that when one person does something horrible, for some reason people lump in all humans with them?
same type of backward people who think all muslims are terrorists for example
If anyone was curious there has been details surrounding the case and how the parents were discovered by Police.
I am listing this, but it is Dailymail so high scrutiny is required still, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.
I dont think he means like that but you dont really see (and if you do, very rarely) animals doing fucked up torturous shit to other animals/prey
you do know that chimp tribes have organized territorial wars and internal power struggles right?
Sure, but you have to remember that we're all mankind
Humanity's equilibrium is fickle, we can go on each side of the spectrum
We give money, support, love to the needy, and we also stalk, harass, rape and murder.
We can all be Gandhi, and we can all be Hitler; because all that stands between them is choice
I feel like Ghandi is a pretty bad example considering he had a pretty huge history of abusing and talking shit about women. Plus the fact that he let his wife die. Dude was honestly kind of a shitstain.

Whoa, dude, did you just finish AP Philosophy too?? Wanna talk about how it's like, all bullshit, man? Here's my livejournal!

I am also sure that Hitler did do some good things in his life as well, we may not be aware of them
my point still stands

I'm pretty sure that most people don't have the public speaking skills required to be hitler

That was not my point
One can go up to their mom and punch her in the face repeatedly until she's dead. What's keeping them from doing so? Because they absolutely can, at any minute she's around
Choice is the answer

I would actually argue that I quite literally do not have that ability.
Here's a video of the press hearing

My cats play around with the mice they catch before eating them.
Apparently the parents pleaded not quilty.

What?
What?
The parents, they plead not guilty.
As of yesterday the parents were officially charged with the following:
David Turpin, 56, and Louise Turpin, 49, were each charged with multiple felony counts of torture, child abuse, abuse of dependent adults and false imprisonment, Riverside County Dist. Atty. Michael Hestrin announced. David Turpin also was charged with one count of a lewd act on a child by force. If convicted, they face up to 94 years to life in prison. They were arrested this week on suspicion of torture and child endangerment.
They pled not guilty to all charges. Scumbags can't even take responsibility now that they've been caught
They're pretty fucked the moment they end up in custody, I don't imagine that this will end well for them.
