This is pretty fucked up, not from religious point of view but from safety; what if a customer was allergic to nuts, and they gave him something that contained nuts? death
It's actually fine to be tricked into eating pig though, they're just not allowed to eat it willingly.
I believe they can even eat it if they are in dire need, in an emergency like starvation due to being trapped or imprisoned inhumanely, say. I also read somewhere that they can be hurt with some sort of pork infused weapon or force-fed it and not be classified as hypocritical heretics.

700,000 bucks because he accidentally got some non-halal on his pizza! America's lawsuit culture sure is something special.

I remember working for a fast food place, and the owners of the local branch were all Indian with bad history with Pakistan, so when the orders came in to order Halal beef/chicken/etc, even though due to government initiatives it'd actually be cheaper for them to supply Halal variants of their meat, they didn't so they'd have an excuse to turn away Muslim customers "for their own good."
