It still sounds like you think he exists and therefore he can be an asshole. You honestly think anyone directly affected by this, the driver, the bystanders, his family and friends, will remember him as an asshole? I guess you're free to say what you want here, but do you honestly feel it necessary, as a random guy posting on the internet, to condemn this dead person as an asshole? Especially when any of the previously mentioned parties likely don't?
Yes, I feel it honestly necessary to call him an asshole but I can still say that his death should be mourned and respected as if he didn't do it. It still is shitty that someone has to die in this way and suicide affects a lot of people around him (family in friend) in terrible I'm not going to backpedel just because this is the internet and 'oh gosh if this was real life though'. I think it and know it and feel it. Big deal.
It still sounds like you think he exists and therefore he can be an asshole.
this sentence though sounds weird maybe it's because I natively speak american but what :v: not that I'm some kind of great-knower of language I'm just lost

You and others feel it necessary as your main input to this thread to judge and establish that you believe this was an asshole thing to do (or as you worded it: you called him an asshole). That's something I expect on 4chan, not here. Also keep in mind that this actually is the only english speaking place discussing the incident. It's only one quick google search away for the afflicted people, and I'd say it's pretty likely for them to make that google search.
this sentence though sounds weird maybe it's because I natively speak american but what :v: not that I'm some kind of great-knower of language I'm just lost
Could be because I'm not a native speaker, but I was just confused by what you were saying. You can't say "Marilyn Monroe is beautiful", you have to say "Marilyn Monroe was beautiful".
you can still feel empathy and sadness for both
Being able to, and actually doing so, are entirely different things, and some people find it difficult to empathize with and feel sad for someone who laid onto another, innocent, party the guilt of having ended a human life coupled with the realization they could have done nothing to avoid doing so. That sort of thing can break someone and may even put them on the path to suicide as well. Some people just aren't as good at wording their thoughts as they need to be when expressing such feelings. It's why I'm staying damned quiet about my own personal feelings here. I simply lack the linguistic skill to word my true feelings here without getting banned for being insensitive, so I'm not putting them down.
Could be because I'm not a native speaker, but I was just confused by what you were saying. It's not kosher in formal English, but it is acceptable in everyday English.
Damn, that's no way for an Evo to go out, it just wanted to be a good rally car.
and people like you (and the poster i quoted) not taking this kind of shit seriously and paying attention to why the person killed themselves and instead just going "what an asshole seriously" are why people like this continue to go unnoticed and feel like they can't seek help, until eventually the only way they feel like they can express themselves is by something as drastic as this. but lol go ahead and blame one of two victims here in the hopes that it will protect you from the unfortunate and blunt truth that your attitude contributes to the deaths of people like this. and for the record, i feel for the driver, i do. my absolute heart of hearts goes out to them, along with the person who dove infront of his car. why? because i've been there before. i understand what it's like when you feel like the only means of speaking out is through self-destruction. i wholly sympathize with it and i wish they'd gotten the help they needed. instead of looking for someone to blame and putting paid to the issue, i look for a way it could've been prevented. because that's how you stop this happening again, not by pinning the blame on the dead. it's easy to blame someone when they're spread over a windshield because it's the only way they knew how to speak out, huh?
I'm blaming the guy for involving others because instead of having one person who wants to commit suicide, we now have potentially two.

Of course it's tragic that this guy felt the need to commit suicide, but doing it in this sort of a way is an asshole way of doing it.

Me not liking that a person commits suicide by causing SOMEONE ELSE TO KILL HIM, probably scarring that person for life, as part of his job no less, has nothing to do with me not noticing depressed people. You're being presumptuous as fuck, because you don't know a damn thing about me or any of the others who condemned him, not a damn thing about what my interactions with suicide were or my support of those who were suicidal. This isn't the same as jumping in front of an automated train. This isn't the same as jumping off a building onto a street with people. He didn't just do it in public, he caused another person to outright kill him. You don't seem to care even slightly about the gravity of such an action.
Man, rally is supposed to be fun.
