that garlic shit domino's puts on the crust? god tier
Yeah I don't know why people are complaining about that. It's the only thing that makes their crust worth eating. Although Marco's version is way better.
Did anyone ever try the Pizza Hut thing where they had cheese filled garlic knots on the crust? Good shit.
It was such a dumb menu item, as ingredients wise it wasn't any different from a stuffed crust but took significantly longer to make and needed its own equipment.

I've never had Papa John's because I don't think they have 'em here in Canada. Or at the very least not in the province I live in. I guess I don't care all too much anymore after hearing what some people have said in this thread. My favourite pizza chain is probably Pizza 73. Also I'm too lazy to go back and quote it, but holy shit, that picture of his house. I honestly don't get how people can live in massive fancy houses like that, even when they're rich, it looks so uncomfortable in a way. If I was rich I'd probably have a big house, but one that feels more homey, like similar to the shit you see in normal homes, and less like a castle.
real talk id rather have a fucking totinos
totinos is legit man dont bring them into this wtf
I ordered from Papa John's once...ONCE. I confused them for Papa Murphy's which is a place near me(no idea if it's just in my city or if it's a nationwide thing) that sells gourmet pizza you cook at home so I thought my pizza was ready in 7 minutes because it wasn't cooked, and I also thought I paid more because it used better ingredients but nah, I just got ripped off for cheap ass pizza that was sitting under a hot lamp
Oh man Papa Murphy's is some good shit. I totally forgot it existed.
I remember he blamed Obama once, only to ignire the midwest drought that was causing prices too spike.
It was such a dumb menu item, as ingredients wise it wasn't any different from a stuffed crust but took significantly longer to make and needed its own equipment.
Ah, the sound of someone else who had to suffer to make that bullshit. Worst job I've had was working at Pizza Hut through my Masters.
Is it wrong for me to still prefer Papa John's Pizza? I mean the dough has a great texture.
Is it wrong for me to still prefer Papa John's Pizza? I mean the dough has a great texture.
The One Neat Trick that a lot of people don't know is that Papa John's franchises are given huge leeway in the suppliers they use. There is an "official" supplier that must be used for dough and sauce, but franchises can opt out for all other ingredients and use their own. I think the "officially-supplied" franchises are alright, but third-party-heavy ones have really awful cheese and toppings imo. So their whole slogan with "better ingredients" is pretty much bullshit if they aren't using the official supply chain, because they'll definitely be using the cheapest shit they can find. Dominos and Pizza Hut have their own corporately-managed supply chains for everything, I think, so you don't get the huge variation that you do with Papa John's. So depending on where you live, Papa John's might be decent, or it might be awful. I think most franchises tend to use third parties, so really only the handful of corporate-owned stores are consistently good (I think they make up <10%, although that may have changed, I did a report on this around 5 years ago and I think they were trying to sell them to franchisees).

I heard kneeling on pizza makes it taste better.
For me its Papa John's > Little Caesers > Dominos > Pizzahut. Litte Caesers ranks high because their crazy bread is so damn good. Dominos' pepperonis taste weird and Pizzahut is always super greasy (but the stuffed crust is damn good).
Also from and still in Indiana I'm apparently on the local top 3 or 5 list for most pizzas delivered or frequent customer or something to this address (told me this once), and I recently stopped because I decided to finally use the Papa Points I had to order a 3-topping pizza and they sent me a fucking cheese pizza I called them and they basically said nothing they can do because their shit says cheese pizza instead of the 3 toppings I picked, even though the order still says 3 topping pizza which costs like 5 papa points a topping
Interesting, sounds like it sucks how Papa Points work where you live. For me, its always been a large 3 topping pizza for 25 points and extra toppings just make it cost some money. Also, now there's an awesome 15 point option for a medium 2 topping pizza.
Local pizza hole in the wall > Chain restaurant pizza
Local pizza > Chain restaurant > Fast food pizza > Dominoes > tree bark with cheese > whatever it is that Little Caesar's calls pizza
I did Nazi this coming
From a business perspective, it would be a bad idea to limit your customer demographic to nazis, only to then scare them off too.
