This is pure retardation. Can't even take notes? Can't leave the room to take a shit? What the fuck???
My school had a stupid rule where you cant go use the bathroom in the last 20 mins or the first 20 mins of class. No matter if it is a emergency or not.
The teather can also deny you if they want. Had a teacher deny me in the middle of class when I had to take a monster shit. I simply ignored him and went anyways. Gotten "in school suspension" where instead of being educated you sit in a room all day long doing literally nothing. All day. Why? Who knows.
Schools in the U.S only only objective is obedience hence why they ignore basic needs and safety of students.
An extreme example of why discipline and authoritarianism and a "competitive" atmosphere do not work in schools let alone in society.

I would have just stood up at the front of the class and taken a monster dump in my pants while yelling about how I can't go to the bathroom because the teacher won't let me. Would either end up in the special classes or the administration would hopefully realize that's a stupid rule.
At the schools I went to we had a bit of an etiquette thing about it. Nobody wanted to be the 3rd kid to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom in the last 10 minutes. But we were always allowed to go if we had to.

Yeah no. Your parents should have threatened to sue the shit out of them if they ever tied to pull that shit again. Unfortunately that's usually what it takes to make them them think twice if they're stupid enough to fuck up that hard. I know some parents who had to throw a shitfit in the principle's office and cite state laws just to get accommodations for their special needs child.
The worst thing is, they will just ignore you because you are a minor even you are making a good argument.
In fact they will just regard standing up for yourself as "derespecting and disrupting the class" and sent you to the office. Sadly my parents were the type to get much more mad at me for getting suspended then whatever my teachers done wrong.
No wonder I was such an bad teenager lol school taught me being reasonable would get me punished.
These rules would probably look much better for an applicant trying to not fuck up an interview (very temporary rules) for a job they badly want/need. It looks to me like the zero-tolerance rules might reach their final conclusion of ridiculous. I like to think that these children are at least trying to get on in this school with most teachers only punishing the kids for "being caught" for these petty rules, at least that's what happened at ours when the zero-tolerance rules rush came through, I think it might be in part due to funding, I remember being taken to a behaviour class to understand why not to bully/behave badly and it really helped, maybe these students aren't getting any of those chances so they put the zero-tolerance rules in place to cover up for the lack of funding that would otherwise allow for more or better staff to provide the better behaviour classes. Just a thought.
