Astronomers to Check Mysterious Interstellar Object for Signs of Technology

Let's hope nobody finds us, then.
Here's the "fuck dude, aliens" one, I'm not gonna pretend to understand it though.
Since it is too late to image ‘Oumuamua with existing tele-
scopes or chase it with chemical rockets (Seligman & Laugh-
lin 2018), its likely origin and mechanical properties could
only be deciphered by searching for other objects of its type
in the future. In addition to the vast unbound population,
thousands of interstellar ‘Oumuamua-like space-debris are
expected to be trapped at any given time in the Solar Sys-
tem through gravitational interaction with Jupiter and the Sun
(Lingam & Loeb 2018).

I prefer to think about Earth being a great place to visit because we have an entirely different biology and I like to think that our taste for food would be unique and interesting.
Nice taste in post-ironic humor though
You'll need more than that. Oumuamua has an interstellar velocity of 26 km/s. You'd need that velcoity plus a lot more to reach it. You'd definitely need nuclear thermal rockets to deliver a useful payload to the asteroid.
spoiler: it's not aliens
The object is literally alien tho
It's also literally a rock
An alien rock, yes. I'm just saying.

Alien: "What are your biggest fears?"
Human: "Being boiled alive. Oh, or eaten by wolves, I guess?"
Alien: "Okay. So what do you do to relax?"
Human: "Take a really hot, steamy bath. Or play with dogs."
Alien: *throws clipboard* "FFS"
