That CEO was a complete idiot, not to mention his goons, no wonder they couldn't keep up. They accused the Banderas character based on nothing, it was forced and it really didn't make any sense. The movie really didn't need cheap antagonists like that.

Agreed. They were so afraid of losing control that they stagnated an intelligence that could've potentially created a solution to their crisis.
