This feels like such a myth at this stage. I've never once had a real person jerk off about being vegan yet I get constant retards on facebook spamming, "haha how do you know someone's a vegan? DON'T WORRY THEY'LL TELL YOU!"
Literally doesn't happen.
That's because you don't live with one, and haven't been showed person jerking off about being vegans (usually with a lot of pathos) to try and convince you

That's your experience with one vegan. By and large most vegans and vegetarians I've met only mention it if you specifically ask whether they have any dietary preferences (e.g. when making a booking for a restaurant).

The guy said "Literally doesn't happen.", which was my point

I'm pretty sure they were using it as a figure of speech

So say something else instead of calling it a myth because they haven't seen it. I've (as far as I know) never met any paedophiles ever, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.
It's pretty much like with fanbases. You start off with getting a lot of people who like something and are vocal about it, another group starts being vocal about they don't like that thing, and then sometime the other group will overtake the first group, and you end up with more people being vocal about hating the thing than liking the thing.

Also mind you that I don't mind vegetarians. I even make vegetarian food every time I make food for my family. But saying that they don't exist, or that there aren't a (IMO kiiinda dumb) reason the counteroutrage exists, is just silly
Nope, works just fine.
People carb load because carbs burn fast and you burn fat slow.
Except that isn't actually true with ketosis. You can burn fat at the rate you need it. Your body still has glycogen stores, which it can use to makeup the rate difference.
Athletes are slowly switching to low carb because, at worst, you perform about the same and don't have to carb load like a motherfucker. At best, performance can increase fairly significantly.

Some people are burning fat at over 1.5 grams per minute which, alone, is enough to sustain someone doing a fairly intense workout. Meanwhile on top of that, you still have glycogen stores for bursts of energy. Which, surprise, is the point of glycogen stores. They aren't intended as a primary fuel source.
I've tried a keto diet and burned out a lot faster than having a balanced (slightly higher carb) carb/fat/protein ratio. Like I said, not for everyone. Depends on what kind of athlete you are, tell a sprinter to do a low carb diet and you're just telling them to lose their next race, sprinting utilizes a shitload of carbohydrates for fuel. A marathoner or other endurance athletes typically do not need a higher carb diet, sure. I also dont agree with having carbs during a workout like the link you posted, mostly because people tend to throw up if they drink a carb shake during intense training.
Keto diets advise having super low carbs like 20-40, that's a ridiculously tiny amount, basically cuts out a good variety of veggies and beans, or even avocados. Your food selection is incredibly tight and basically the only way you can get your fiber quota is to eat chia seed stirred in water or some veggies.
Some people do fine on it, but it is not good eating method for many people.

Ketogenic diets are, largely, bullshit.
Atkins remains the ONLY option. He did the actual research, and continued to research for decades.
Unlike other diets, he generally only recommends remaining in serious ketosis during the induction phase to help your body adjust properly and change insulin sensitivity. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you can extend this phase, but it isn't necessary. Once induction is done, you start going back up the carb ladder. Ultimately things like rice and bread are allowed, but in smaller quantities. Fiber and such become a non issue because you can consume normal fibrous foods.
Just don't buy the modern atkins shit. That is just a brand name. His books are where it is at.
