...why would anyone bother buying this game at that point
Uninformed mass will buy it and even probably defend it.
I clicked on this, thinking to myself : "Ha what now, I wonder if the are going to make you BUY punches, how silly, how impractical and absurd! Hahaha!" THEN THEY FUCKING DO :scream:
ugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and i was actually going to buy this game but EA somehow ruins it again they say the career mode will be better this time, but i highly doubt it's much better. if anything, it'll be worse so people will be pushed toward ultimate team ultimate team is a cancer to every sports game that EA has, so a cancer within a cancer
Wasn't this a thing in the last game, though? Like legit good players couldn't go up against people who bought the crates and cards to give their fighters 3 or 4 times the stamina and health
Is Eternal Envy behind EA?
Looks like a fucking Deus Ex villain.

I know your unEAtco kill-phrase. A linear single-player triple-A game.

"We understand your outrage" Then immediately releases another game with worse microtransactions.
It's because not enough people are boycotting this shit.
-low level deus ex meme-
You gotta work on your deus ex memes.
Sucks that no matter how big this gets, it’ll still make tons of money. There’s that group of average people who play games occasionally that pick these games up no matter how scummy they are. The usual crowd who doesn’t follow a lot of gaming news and just buys whatever the new cod/FIFA/nba/ufc/nfl game is
Every single technique, ability, fighter, and stat roll, is entirely acquired and upgraded through the loot box system.
Jesus, this is something you would see out of a 4chan copy/pasta mocking DLC.
Honestly, I don't expect EA to crash and burn overnight- but even their most brain dead fans are eventually going to get sick of this shit if they keep this up. Nobody wants to spend hundreds of dollars unlocking shit every time they buy a full priced game.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/0ZSLs3x.png[/t] We are in a great need of a séance.
Someone put this as his wikipedia picture.

The best part is that you can actually sell it. That's right, you can sell a fighting move that you personally memorized, from a box, so that you no longer remember it, for 10 UFCBUCKS. But hey, at least you're 10 F2PSUCKEROOS closer to the Legendary Epic Dick Hold, Cockgargle, only 1,000,000,000,000,000 Funny-Fighty-Money or maybe inside the next Punchie Box!
This is hilarious. I wonder if they receive backlash for this or if the EA Sports Crowd is too braindead to notice.
Can't wait to play as premium cybernetically enhanced Anderson Silva for $19.99
I can't wait until you need to spend real money for a chance to get a job other than panhandling, food that doesn't have a high likelihood of poisoning you, appliances and furniture that don't break immediately, etc from loot boxes in The Sims 5. Seems like the next logical step even with this backlash.

Considering how shit UFC2 is I had no plans on buying this to begin with. I only own UFC 2009 and UFC2 but the difference between the two is shocking. If you want a fun UFC game, this series is in the same situation as Battlefront: play the older one, the new one's trash.

I have never bought these types of games and never will but I feel sorry for the people who do.
I don't even give a shit about this game and I'm fucking triggered. That is it, EA is the fucking cancer of the industry
Like I said before, Die ea, die. Dead.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/0ZSLs3x.png[/t] We are in a great need of a séance.
More like an exorcism!
I can't wait to play the next Need for Speed title and have to pay real world dollar amounts for each individual part of the car down to screws and having to buy oil
Imagine if they made you pay for parts every time you got in a crash. I mean we all still remember EA's old CEO John Riccitiello suggesting to charge for reloads in Battlefield, right?
I can't believe I'm saying this but wow, this blows Battlefront 2 out of the water. I've never seen such a disgusting use of loot boxes. Between this, BF2 and Shadow of War, I'm seriously afraid for the gaming industry.
Matter of fact is, Shadow of War Afaik isnt even near as bad. Playing without lootboxes for real cash is perfectly ok?
Matter of fact is, Shadow of War Afaik isnt even near as bad. Playing without lootboxes for real cash is perfectly ok?
It's not bad if you don't care about the real ending.
I heard it was more of a grind than hard, but then again reviewers do have a more limited time with things.
Matter of fact is, Shadow of War Afaik isnt even near as bad. Playing without lootboxes for real cash is perfectly ok?
Slippery slope there. Maybe they were just a bit smarter then EA, add the feature first and when its "okay" and perceived as not impacting or being required they can slowly crank up the grind and difficulty in a future game. Lootboxes like that just invite money hungry published to make devs adjust the game in favor of boxes. Even if you can play just fine without them, they shouldn't be in a SinglePlayer Full Price title to begin with.
Journos said 50 hours, it took me 5 at max The thing is, you can dominate and recruit everyone attacking your fort as you go along in each fight, making them easier as they go along [editline]2nd December 2017[/editline] It was boring af tho, not worth playing to the end since every siege is basically the same exact thing
That's a problem
