If you love your kids deep down, you wouldn't do half the shit they did to Cody or the other kids. You can't sit there and say "but I love my kids" when you're doing the shit they do, which is downright emotional torture. Especially with how young that kid is, any sane parent would know that it'd take a massive toll on the child in the future. Your parents are your closest "friends", people you go to, and people you look up to as a kid. I couldn't even fathom respecting my dad if he used me for pranks on his shitty YouTube channel, where he made me cry every other day just for a shitty prank. I don't think I'd feel that my parents loved me deep down if they did that, no matter how much they lied in front of the camera.

Cody and Emma are back in their real home though, with their real mother.
I'd love to see like, a vlog of Cody and Emma with their mom later on, to make sure that they're in a good family and recovering, but it'd also be fine if they never want to be on youtube again

I think the kids are probably relieved. I was looking at that adoption video, and I noticed when he said he was being put up for adoption there was a certain amount of relief in the kid's eyes. I think with some time maybe they'll heal. They're still young, but it'll haunt them for the rest of their lives.

Most of the videos before they were taken down did focus on making Cody miserable as possible.

I feel bad for the remaining kids, because if they get taken away, they probably won't realize that they were being abused as part of their parent's scheme to get money. They were even the ones doing most of the justifications for their parents actions in the first video after DeFranco brought it to attention, saying "it's not abuse, at least they don't beat us like other parents." Like, they're probably going to think for a while that "the haters" on the internet "ruined their lives" because they were jealous of all the gifts their parents bought them with the YouTube money after abusing them and teaching them bad behavior.

Ontop of emotional abuse, he pushed Cody into a bookshelf, hitting his face and causing bleeding, would often have the bigger older kids dog pile and fight with him, getting thrown around. There was a video of a "game" they made up where they had to slap eachother, and Emma got slapped pretty hard. Too many things to list.
