The Thrawn's Revenge EAW team is making a Clone Wars era mod. Right now its slow because they're finishing up TR, but once thats done it will be gaining speed.

It will be mostly legends because there is more stuff from the EU then canon ATM, but they will be including stuff introduced with the Clone Wars CG series.
Is the modding api extensive enough that the game could be rebalanced? Sounds like a good project since multi-player is back online
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
This game was pretty fun and got me into deeper RTS games, but like others have said the Zann Consortium is overpowered in pretty much every way.

There exists a few but they didn't really interest me so I can't name any off my head. A lot of them give up and straight up delete the zann consortium though which I find pretty funny.
The modding api is pretty decent though. Honestly, the weakest link is that land battles just can't really be made good.

The land battles is the main criticism of this game even though I find them to be alright.
I've played alot of mods for the game back in the day and not one made land battles as fun as space battles.
Empire at War is a fantastic game, and while it obviously lacks proper balance it's pretty great from a single player perspective. Thrawn's Revenge is a must play mod if you have this game.
Are there any good balance mods for this game? The corruption faction would be fun with a bit of a nerf, and without bloody buzz droids
Most importantly - can we register our CD keys on Steam, then?

Unfortunately that's one really bad thing about the update, it seems to be limited to Steam. GOG and CD users are fucked for now.
