Depends, I think PCP has been known to cause this type of shit, though the evidence is starting to point towards it being terrorist in nature.
In the news according to eyewitness attacker was not "native" as in not ethnic finnish. She also said that apparently some girl's throat was cut.
This is pretty damn shocking, i don't live too far from turku. I had a hunch this would happen at some point but still, this sort of things just don't happen here.

Eight people stabbed arrived in hospital, one confirmed dead.
Likely confusing the dudes that chased the one attacker as being attackers too, since they were chasing him with baseball bats.

Ok just they could be a Finnish citizen and could've grown up in the country. I am not entirely familiar with Finland's immigration policy and how strict it is though so I don't know how likely this would be

It's more that if there is a stabbing, the perpetrator is usually drunk and happens in the later evening.
