I mean, Spotify is amazing, lets me just play music from bands that I've never heard of before. Found so much great music that I would have never even thought of to look for.
But they really need to tune some of their algorithms a bit, concerning their "Recommended songs" feature for playlists.
When browsing through and listening to music on there I added a really nice electronic piece, only to later learn it was made by an artist related to the MLP fandom just by the fact that every single song Spotify would recommend to me afterwards was either plain MLP music or fan versions of songs from said series.
I ended up having to remove the actually really nice electronic song again from my playlist just to get back recommendations that didn't cause me to want to stop listening to music altogether.
Spotify should pull a Netflix and just raise the price $1 every year or so. :wink:
I love Spotify though. Just spent $100 on the holiday deal to get Spotify for 1 year.
