- snip - Towards all apologists who will propagate "stand strong" and other silly phrases: Yeah, just keep ignoring people spontaneously combusting around your loved ones and are actively trying to kill them every once in a while. Don't forget guys, if you react to them that means they won xdddd I'll only say that the more you try to shame people for having valid concerns about potential cultural clashes regarding ME and Islamic faith, the more people will be pushed towards right wing. People want something done about this; on one side you have someone offering solution (albeit it might be radical in some aspects), on the other one you have people shaming you and making fun of you for being worried. Guess which side will more people pick?

They took credit for the car crash in Times Square recently which then turned out to have nothing to do with them. Like holy shit dude calm your big hard right boner.

You're an idiot dude

He said ISIS claim they are behind every major attack, they even claimed a crazed homeless man with an axe attacking people was their handy work.

Some of them might be considered left-wing oriented, and some of them might be right-wing oriented. I just felt the need to say this to all people who will go with phrases "stay strong" and plaster their FB profile pictures with Union Jack. (and yes, I'm aware you weren't going for this angle in your post)
Sorry that valuing and putting the well being of OTHER people too is something you see as weak when actually sticking together and looking strong in the face of adversity is a FAR better option. You're an idiot dude
For how long are you supposed to "look strong" when there aren't any signs of this stopping? Until these kind of acts become normalized? Are we supposed to become some war-torn ME state like Iraq which has daily suicide bombings?

You can blame ISIS when its confirmed to be ISIS, but their claims don't mean much since they claim all sorts of crap for attention, even more so recently since they've been getting destroyed in the middle east.
Step 1. Everyone posts flags over their facebook avatars, and starts talking about togetherness Step 2. We have some memorial services and everyone asks themselves why this had to happen. Step 3. Some buildings get lit up in the colours of the flag of the country where the attack happened. Then we repeat. Over and over. Nothing changes, no action is taken, we just wait for the next one. And I'm expected to accept this, according to the Mayor of London.
That quote was very much taken out of context, he's saying people need to be on alert in the city since terrorism tends to occur in big cities, which is a perfectly valid thing to say.
As long as we don't do what certain users did in this thread and say it's not a terrorist attack when it obviously is, I'm fine.

Don't you realize how demoralizing it is to ISIS and other terrorists when they see that their attack, planned for months and even years, has no effect on the populace? Thats the point, thats how we beat ISIS
What's important is that we dont speak out against Islam
What a load of horseshit, why is Islam supposed to have immunity from criticism? Because its followers are rabid? No, really, please tell me why is it important?
and force MORE people into radical terrorism
If criticism of Islam will force people into radical terrorism, then maybe those people don't belong in our society in the first place? I mean, at least I don't want to be in society with those kind of people. You could use this paragraph and paste it in any event related to Islamic terrorism that happened in Europe (Batacalan for example).

Thats the point, thats how we beat ISIS
Even if you rolled over tanks and conquered Raqqa tomorrow, that still wouldn't be the end of ISIS. I have a feeling that battle with ideology which ISIS propagates will last for years to come after ISIS' demise. Do you really think ISIS cares what you think of them, or how you react to their terrorist attacks?

Westerners need to help accomodate those running from war because thats what a civilized society does
Literally the most disgusting post I've ever read, EVERYONE has a place in a modern Western society, no one should ever be forced to mold into a predetermined model of a European citizen. Westerners need to help accomodate those running from war because thats what a civilized society does
I want to mold them in the way where they dont think blowing up a fucking stadium with children for a god is a good idea.
ISIS isn't a school bully, they're not going to stop attacking just because people don't care. They'll keep maiming and killing people until they do.
How would you know that? You're not ISIS
How would you know that? You're not ISIS
I mean its not hard to see that way. I mean unless you haven't been around the last 20 years with Al-Queda and it's affiliates, it's pretty obvious.
I don't think everyone has a place in modern western society. I actually think people that kill people over religious differences should very much not have a place in modern western society.
Then maybe they shouldn't be discriminated for their beliefs? Islam has nothing to do with it
Do you really think ISIS cares what you think of them, or how you react to their terrorist attacks?
Yes.
Yeah, it's even more demoralizing when your fucking family gets blown to pieces, but at least we really stuck it to those terrorists by posting about how we're not scared on facebook.
I don't know what it is you want, get everyone to fight ISIS personally? deport every muslim? create a minority report style system to flag future terrorists? specify what is it that you want before you go on some strange rant about people saying stuff on facebook.

You realize hectoliters of blood have been spilled so we could have our liberties and values, and you're willing to throw them all down the trash just so you could claim some sort of moral superiority. You're literally being tolerant of intolerant. Do you think you this will actually last long enough without any long-term effects? Also, why exactly do westerners need to accommodate them? I'm all for funding support for them, but for what purpose is mass migration of them needed here? For one refugee you take care of in Europe you can literally take care of 10 of them in ME.
Checked my facebook and all I see are the obligatory "Prayers for" posts. I'm so fucking sick of it. How many times are we going to do this? How many more people have to die before people wake the fuck up and actually try to do something about it. "Prayers" aren't working.

The West started this mess, its only fair that they at least have the courtesy to take in refugees

I'm not sure what else you can really do other than defeat them, maybe more boots on the ground?
Guess that explains the bomb removal squad getting called in then.
bomb squad is a normal appearance to any crime scene where a bomb could have gone off to make sure there isn't any other suspected devices so police and detectives can carry out their investigations safely
