Valve's Steam Link is one dollar (in a $9 bundle) right now - Sensationalist Headlines

Just went to buy this, checked my PayPal, I only have $4. Tried to put some shit on the Steam Market to buy it, then realized I recently deactivated my Steam Authenticator because I had to restore my phone. What shit timing :v: I don't think this sale will last long, and I've wanted one of these forever. Guess I'll have to miss out on it this time.

I tried playing San Andreas on PC with a mod that added support for the Dualshock 3 analog face buttons, and it was actually pretty great. It's weird accelerating with the main action button (cross in this case) after using the triggers for almost a decade, but it works

I just wouldn't be able to for like a week because I think the Steam Authenticator restriction also applies to Trading items and not just marketing them.

I was going to get it, but then realized that if it wasn't worth it to me at the $15 it drops to all the time, it's not worth $16 just for a bonus game. I was just gonna use it so I didn't have to run an HDMI to my TV to play Jackbox or watch Google Play movies anyhow, no big loss.

Just ordered it and even in the states it's $8 shipping. Still worth it imo considering its regular price, and shipping never changes.

This is really tempting. I've been looking for something to play emulators on my TV. Seeing as my old modded Xbox died. Steam link can just run crap on your desktop right?

I haven't hardwired it, even though my PC is right next to it, and I've had pretty minimal problems.

The Wifi card is fine. I have it in a part of my house where basically everything else gets shitty wifi on 5GHz AC due to distance and it still has nearly no input delay streaming at 1080p60fps.

I really want to just burn the $15 but I'd only really use it to play cuphead with my dad and the idea that it might be obsolete very soon is annoying
