Would a rocket launcher, like an RPG-7 for example, be considered a "weapon" or an "explosive ware"?
Because if the penalties for handling an RPG-7 are less severe than handling a 9mm handgun... Well, :vs:
That'd be classified as a weapon/firearm since it's shooting out a projectile using some kind of charge. May also fall under "war material" laws.

Speaking of rocket launchers, we once had a MC gang war where members used stolen rocket launchers to destroy club houses :wavey:.

if a rocket launcher is a war material, a hand grenade should be considered war material as well.
there aren't construction crews lobbing grenades into demo sites to destroy old structures, its not your general explosive wares.
