It was fucking Brink of all games, there's no way that happiness lasted any longer than the time required to boot up the game.
Brink was actually a tiny part of what could've been an amazing game. If it didn't come to such a short stop.
The australian govt announced today too that bitcoin will be treated like a normal currency unit.
I got around 9.4 bitcoin 3 weeks ago, absolute madness how much its gone up in the last few weeks. - Forgot to say funnily enough the only reason I haven't cashed it out sooner is convenience, was a fair bit of effort to do.
I wonder if you could pay blowjobs with bitcoins
I wonder if you could pay blowjobs with bitcoins
I recon blowcoins should be a thing.
Altcoins are the only way to make major money these days unless you have a shit ton to put into bitcoin, I personally made over 20k just holding some for a bit so far with minimal investment
I remember posting about Bitcoin here and lots of FPers were shitting on it.. now they regret it, it seems :P.
How do you even use bitcoins, and who accepts them?
How do you even use bitcoins, and who accepts them?
You can buy computer components with it.
I remember posting about Bitcoin here and lots of FPers were shitting on it.. now they regret it, it seems :P.
All those years ago I remember reading a post about BTC here and I decided to try to mine some at home (really early on, I had a pretty decent pc) - I wanted to go for glory and not be part of a pool or anything and I gave up after a few days without success "/ I think I ended up joining a pool for a day - Few months back I ended up digging out the old HD and trying to find the wallet on it, only to see $8 worth of btc. If only I had common sense and patience back then.
truly the wildest gamble of our generations you could win everything or lose everything
Eh, lets just hope the people betting on bitcoin don't ever discover options.
How do you even use bitcoins, and who accepts them?
You can use them in quite a lot of places, at least in Europe. I don't know how it is in USA. Here there are a few shops, cafes restaurants etc where you can spend them. Most people just convert them into traditional currency though.
I remember posting about Bitcoin here and lots of FPers were shitting on it.. now they regret it, it seems :P.
They got to like $10 and people were like, "fuck me I should've put money in bitcoins".
The only time I used bitcoins was putting $38 into a bet on Trump winning. I just checked my account and that $38 is now worth $322.
I had a couple thousand BTC at one point, and lost it all during a reformat because they were worth pennies at most and I didn't give a shit.
I had a couple thousand BTC at one point, and lost it all during a reformat because they were worth pennies at most and I didn't give a shit.
Probably now everytime you look at BTC price you scream like creature in your avatar :v
Is it worth it to invest in Litecoin? It's been going up for a while now, but it's still relatively cheap.
LiteCoin just activated SegWit a day or two ago and it mostly turned out to be hype, no substance. The best analogy would be building a 4 lane highway in a small country of 1 million. No matter how impressive the tech, you're just not going to see traffic if nobody uses it. BUT as an alternative to BTC it is still fairly strong with Lightning making transactions helluva lot faster. Bitcoin has by now become the legacy standard currency that everything else gets marked up to, but as a payment vehicle itself it's fallen woefully short of what it initially advertised itself as. The explosive kind of money is to be made in altcoins nowadays. If you're risk averse, I suggest simply holding BTC/ETH, as institutional solutions are in the works and more and more fiat is rolling into it, effectively creating an unconditional bull market for crypto in general. In laymen's terms: putting money in now and forgetting about it for some years will very likely make you quite a bit of money. It's just that nobody should delude themselves into thinking they'll be making BTC-like meteoric gains in as short as days. That being said, my personal altcoin recommendations for starting now and long-term holding are as follows: RLC - decentralized computing Golem - decentralized computing PosW - unique exchange/collective staking wallet combination that pays dividends per PosW held BitBay - essentially a crypto-based ebay Burst - Proof-of-Capacity mining based on your available disk space (new algorithm) XtraBytes - Proof-of-Signature (new algorithm) TaaS - Token-as-a-Service ETH smart contract based mutual crypto investment fund that distributes majority of earnings out as dividends equally to every token. Thus holding more tokens means greater reward. I will also remind anyone interested in cryptotrading to NEVER play with money they can't afford to lose. Only money you are okay with locking up for extended periods of time and/or potentially losing. There will be lots of FUD/FOMO, hyping, pumping and dumping and whales splashing with massive BTC walls. Do NOT do this if you can't handle seeing numbers go down. You will only end up buying high, selling low, again and again. Most importantly, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Most legit coins with active dev teams have slack rooms where you can ask whatever you like to confirm or defuse suspicions or worries. Pay attention to news and read the forums (bitcointalk.org, hell, even /biz/). Good luck!
If you mention TaaS (which got rekt anyway), then you should mention Iconomi too.
If you mention TaaS (which got rekt anyway), then you should mention Iconomi too.
How has TaaS been rekt? The first stage of proof has yet to even come. Quarterly payouts are yet some time away. What do you mean?
How has TaaS been rekt? The first stage of proof has yet to even come. Quarterly payouts are yet some time away. What do you mean?
Checked again, ah I see price recovered. By rekt I meant the market dumping was very strong + project was quite unserious (especially that cry baby interview if you watched it :P).
Speaking of altcoins, I apparently had 7 LTC lying around from back when it was about $1/coin. That's about $220 now. Probably gonna cash half and let the other half grow some more.
I've never owned bitcoins because they're for dumb nerds
I remember posting about Bitcoin here and lots of FPers were shitting on it.. now they regret it, it seems :P.
I don't regret a fucking thing, if I regretted everything that I had a chance at gambling away my earnings on I would be a broke homeless man by now.
I did buy bitcoins when they were about 200 a pop. I made the mistake of using a bad (?) marketplace and I cannot use my bitcoins because I cannot verify my address since I live with my parents. They were willing to take my money before verifying my address though and they have even sent me a fucking postcard to my address for some fucking reason. Every time I read one of these articles, I go check on the wallet, see that the price of my wallet has risen. God damn I wish I had had more money to invest in bitcoin though. Could have been a much richer man once I get this address verified a few years in the future.
My brother got an 11k bank loan to buy bitcoins when they dropped to like 500 a coin, at the time we all laughed at his idea. We all laughed...
I've never owned bitcoins because they're for dumb nerds
Bitcoin is legal tender in Japan now, it's not just for dumb nerds now. [editline]11th May 2017[/editline]
I don't regret a fucking thing, if I regretted everything that I had a chance at gambling away my earnings on I would be a broke homeless man by now.
Well few people that had vision are fucking rich now. It's gamble only if you don't know what is it. I thought it was gamble too at first haha.
"Well, it's way too high now, it surely won't keep rising... Either stable or even down... NOW is definitely not the time to invest. Too late." ~Coment, 2017 ~Coment, 2016 ~Coment, 2014
what happens if you cash out a significant amount can places like coinbase honour large payouts? like the seized silk road wallets
Bitcoin feels like the opposite of other virtual currencies. You think it would be one dollar gets you 1700 bitcoins, not the other way around. BTW to anyone experienced with bitcoin, do you think it's going to keep steadily increasing over time, or have we kinda hit the point when it starts to peter out?
Its a bubble about to burst any month now. Ethereum looks like the one that will actually have some legs.
I was trying to buy ten thousand when they were 14 cents, so I could have some money to buy durgz and various shit. I decided to stop trying cause I figured it was a bad idea. Chances are I would have never used the coins for anything. Well... Life is funny sometimes.
