Holy shit ghost in the shell is on there. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?term=ghost%20%20in%20the%20%20shell&category1=992
If Sword Art Online is there, gift them that.
Woah, what the fuck did they ever do to you?
Now we need fansubs on steam greenlight
I know you're joking, but it's probably technically feasible to support subtitle files via the workshop. The main obstacles are that these are 48 hour rentals and of course the really dubious legal standing of fansubs in the first place.

Is it overly localised trash though?
Ace attorney, finally on steam
It ended too early... they didn't even get to do T&T :(
i'd laugh if valve made STS translators do the subtitles
Pirate subtitles
Is it overly localised trash though?
Crunchyroll is usually fine in that regard now (but watching it on their website is usually less costly for series). I suspect the experience will vary if someone else brought it over originally. [editline]30th March 2017[/editline]
It ended too early... they didn't even get to do T&T :(
Did it get better after the first few episodes? I couldn't watch more than two due to how they barely adapted the source material.
Can't wait for the future of Steam when they finally start selling h-anime. Load up Eroge! and it broadcasts to all your friends.
And not a single good anime is available
Is it overly localised trash though?
I can't stand localization, just put a TL note if you have to and leave it be. The only anime where localization is acceptable is Ghost Stories.
And not a single good anime is available
Ghost in the Shell is on there. You can't get better.
[...] The only anime where localization is acceptable is Ghost Stories.
I still wonder how they got away with creating that treasure :v:
The invasion is nearly complete... Dunno what's funnier, all the waifu jokes or all the people who are horrified by this.
Can't wait for the future of Steam when they finally start selling h-anime. Load up Eroge! and it broadcasts to all your friends.
Steam overlay kicks in, and you notice in the top corner "1 watching". Shameful display. I'm still not too sure about Steam offering video media on the platform to be honest, there's very little it provides that competes with dedicated services.
Not like I would buy it for it to be streamed to me but damn Steam's choice is garbage in the UK, I can't even get K-On the film or Ghost in the Shell : SAC, what is the deal with that. I could just borrow my friends collectors edition blu-ray instead.
Well I didn't see this coming.
How long until i can shop for groceries on steam?
I didn't know Ace Attorney anime was a thing and good lord the art and animation looks atrocious.
so if anime can come to steam, WHY CAN'T PARKS AND RECREATIONS... HUH??????
good lord the art and animation looks atrocious.
Welcome to every modern anime past the first 2 episodes.
Welcome to every modern anime past the first 2 episodes.
we need, returns of, hand-drawns. Supported digitally ofc.
Was gonna send an episode of Kancolle (the boat girls anime) as a joke to a friend but he's from Australia and that area's restricted so I played myself
What's the point in this? Like what even is Steam thinking? If you want anime, go to a dedicated anime service like Crunchyroll. Since when did Steam - the video game distribution service - start thinking it'd be a good idea to branch out into anime / videos? Whenever I see those awful CS:GO videos up, it's the stupidest thing ever. I don't visit Steam to get my daily fix of anime / dumb CS:GO player rise-to-fame-biography crap. I go to see what new games are out.
And not a single good anime is available
nah GITS: SAC and Mob Psycho 100 are great the rest is forgettable tresh
Well its either this or screwing around with traders again so inject me with all the anime gabe.
Ace Attorney episodes are on sale for 50 cents each. So if you get them all, you're paying 10 bucks for the whole thing. Not bad.
Because it's about animated series. The sub par flash like animation of Super doesn't really count.
OK I get that Dragon Ball Super hasn't really had the greatest track-record in the past (remember Episode 5?), but how is its animation anything like sub-par flash animation? Especially with some great animation cuts like these: [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/397832346bd993f819384cf85772faa2.mp4[/vid] [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/3f28ab689b3aa3eb61da552ddc70a93d.mp4[/vid] [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/32f3ad6f6b6fe6387fb475c634dda631.mp4[/vid] [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/427d62e8422856b2c914492817e80435.mp4[/vid] [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/954f0937472b444747edf947372cfb4c.mp4[/vid] [vid]https://sakugabooru.com/data/45002b2993d323a1e6223d4db09ae3a8.mp4[/vid]
And not a single good anime is available
gits and mob
