"Anime sells like shit" and "physical media sells like shit" are two totally different thoughts. of course YOU know what you meant, that doesn't mean the rest of us can read your mind. cut the snarky tone, it's not becoming of a Canadian.
all physical media sells like shit (which happens to be the source of the confusion, it goes without saying that anime dvd sales are suffering the same fate as dvd sales across the board). it's all redbox and Netflix type services these days. only superfans and hardcore nerds buy physical media now, and that goes for both anime and western entertainment. it's not like 12 years ago where if you wanted to watch a rerun of friends you either had to have the dvd or hope to god the network will run the one with chandler in a box today. you just hop on Netflix and watch it now.
