Only the first one was published by THQ if you think all of them are going on sale.

Wait for STALKER day.

That too.
I already have Metro 2033, and it's brilliant. Buy it now (NOW!), The same goes for the book!
Every god damn time Metro goes on sale, I have no money.
Why did I bother getting it on Xbox first?
WHYYY. I am not fit to hold the name Artyom.
Sigh.. I own most of these games thanks to god damn sales, and now it's going to force me to purchase Retribution. But nooo "Oooh baby, come and buy me, pour expensive oil all over my giant man boobs and make me horny" Gabe says, well fuck you Gabe.

Err...
I just find it funny whenever THQ does sales.
"Why buy this one recently released game when you can get about twelve for ten dollars less."
Just bought metro 2033 and holy shit does it run well, even on high!
Man I wish steam would change the way they did these big sales. Why have the ones that will be a daily sale be on sale before hand? I feel like if I go to buy SR2 for $10 it will be $5 later in the week so I might as well wait. Why not just make it all go on sale at once or have the daily ones not go on sale before hand? :(
I'm not complaining about sales just the way they're done

To be fair it looks kind of ugly outside of the metro and the spaces are quite small.
Just moved from the UK to Canada (Pacific) - am I right in thinking that new Steam 'days' start at 10am PST?

Shouldn't it be 9am? Canada Pacific may be different than US Pacific though. It's 11am here in US Central.
Gave in and bought Metro 2033. Is the book good as well? I am looking for something new to read.

Which city? PST = Canada and US west coast, and since Valve is in Seattle I'm assuming steam "Days" start at 12AM.

I assumed it was 10am; the next 'day' of Steam sales used to start at 6pm in the UK, and I'm 8 hours behind now in Vancouver, so that would make 10am. Just seems like a rather arbitrary time though.
oh cool, I'm near Vancouver. Anyways I think it might be when Valves offices open up or something.
Might get Retribution. The DoW2 saga is like an ex girlfriend. We left on good terms and I thought she was fine with it but she keeps flaunting that amazing rack and her new bisexual friends to bring me back!

Assuming they get in at 9am, it's probably at 10am incase there's a total SNAFU when the next sale day starts.
Now is finally the time to get Metro 2033, I forgot to buy it last time
I don't have any money and am wanting to buy Metro. Anyone interested in trading me Metro for Amenia, Killing Floor or Cogs? (1:1)
If there's a more appropriate thread for this, would someone kindly direct me to it, in the meantime please private message me if you're interested and/or add me on steam (under my avatar there's a link).
Edit: Done, thanks pebkac!

I'd do it but Killing Floor, Cogs and Amenia suck balls. Sorry.

KF is fun, I haven't played Amnesia (mostly due to being busy, but for another obvious reason too partially) but I hear it's really good, and Cogs is a nice indie game to play when you're bored.
You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, though it doesn't really add anything to the thread or my offer, so I don't see the point of your post other then to say "I don't like these games, so everyone should know this".

Okay? While pointing out what I said was pointless you went on about your own pointless shit to prove how pointless my pointless statement was.
$50 for those games, especially since some of them are recent titles, is an insane price. I think I'll get it tomorrow.
FUUUUCK.
EXACTLY three days after i spent the last of my money on Ep2. FUCK THIS SHIT.
Merry Christmas
Wasn't there just a THQ sale like a month or two ago?

The THQ pack is well worth the money really. I paid £21 for it a few sales ago or something, mainly to get Red Faction: Guerrilla. Which was worth more than the sale price of the pack alone. I still haven't played it, but found many more games and some old friends in the forms of STALKER and Dawn of War respectively.

Oh, wow.
Must be getting it mixed up with the Dawn of War and Company of Heroes sales.
