oh god the bloom it hurts
Seriously, I'd go into ENB and change that shit.
is there like something that fixes the games NPC appearances because they look really ugly
Have you tried search for something like "GTA IV NPC Textures"?
the trees still look like origami though
I fixed that, I just hadn't got around to installing a tree replacer.

I also fixed that too.

Got a rundown of what I've got to do for it / a decent config? I have no idea where to start. I've already got the First Response mod (so I assume I've got a scripthook installed and going). Also, any tips for retaining multiplayer, even if I have to resort to keeping two copies?

Go fetch some new screenshots!
I really want to use this but my GTA IV discs were destroyed by my brother (I let him borrow them and he just puts them anywhere to get scratched to hell). So now I have to get it on Steam, are there any somewhat decent ENB configs for the latest patch? I know I can't get anything as good as this without bugs.
Hey, does anyone still have Scripthook 0.4.0 for IV 1.0.4.0?
I uninstalled GTA:IV 1.0.4.0 months ago because I got tired of all the FPS-raping mods I had installed, and re-installed version 1.0.7.0.
Well, breaking out my DVDs and doing yet another re-install. :sigh:
Damn it, why did I buy this on steam. I want sexy textures!
Looks awesome, kind of makes me want GTA V more.

Bloom looks a bit overdone on EFLC... :v:
You should install a graphics mod to get rid of some of that bloom that Rockstar put in!

Shame i have GTA4 on Steam, and Xbox. Can't use this for either
I hope this is what the graphics are like for GTA V.

This looks nice.
The people who make those mods are good at what they do, but they're also really messy. I've seen far too many overlapping textures and inconsistent billboards in that video.
looks better than crysis 2
My PC is not ready
I hope this is what the graphics are like for GTA V.
I hope they are better. Because it's still not that good, it's just a good shader. The textures are still, eeeehhh...
But for being GTA IV it looks sexy and the cars obviously look really good since the shaders are everything.
I've got my i7 950 for a small price. 6GB of 1600 ram. Only problem is my 4870 which I feel is bottlenecking my game. I'd either go for a 4870x2 if I can get it cheap, or a 6970 if I can save enough money.
I can still run it at medium and a couple of max settings, but it runs slow and has bursts of speed.

That's why anyone who's serious about improving the graphics installs a texture pack too.
I know, but its not like I haven't registered them.
We can use it in a steam support ticket.

There are no HD ped texture overhaul mods.
I've been playing this on my PS3 the last week for the first time...
Damnit.
holy fish fucking shit
it looks amazing. tad too much motion blur for my liking but i'm guessing that's optional.
And now i want GTA4. Anyone wanna gift it to meh?

that actually looks hilariously ugly
that actually looks hilariously ugly
well yeah, there's a lot of fine tuning to do, mainly with the bloom
looks great in motion regardless though
So, do i just download this mod and replace my files with them?
and also in the readme what does he mean about the GF5xx Nvidia cards and so on?
does he mean GTX500 series?
reinstall the game, apply patch 1.0.4.0, apply this mod
This doesn't work if you have the Steam version I'm guessing.
This doesn't work if you have the Steam version I'm guessing.
Yes it'll work. It might be hard applying the patch since you have to point it to the direction of the game files. You can play GTA:IV without launching it from steam. And any game that has steam integrated in it, you can't do that.
my gta looks good enough as it is
