Are the present achievements like in CS:S and DOD:S supposed to give you anything? Because I didn't get anything except the achievement.

I had the same thing on my 2nd steam account.
Nothing showed up at first, but when I looked 20 minutes later I had a 50% off Valve games and a copy of Serious Sam HD 1st encounter.
Granted both useless since I own all Valve games and already own Serious Sam HD 1st encounter.
However I guess I will find someone who wants the game.
So you can get games from the game achievements? I just finished the edge achievement, and checked and finally got 2 gifts in there...but I'm not sure if there from edge or from the check inventory achievement.

It doesn't work, I got the holiday survivor achievement from Bunch of Heros and the achievement doesn't reg at all so I submitted a steam support request. But for the achievements that are registering people are saying that they are not receiving their gifts probably for the same reason I don't have my steam tab.

So i got my reward for the Orcs Must Die achievement, but still haven't gotten my 2nd reward from the steam inventory one.
I got a coupon for limbo (50% off) which is fine with me cause its basically an extension of the steam holiday sale for that game, and I'll buy it then.

I got a 25% off any Valve game coupon and The Witcher: Extended Edition (which I already have).
I've done two of the achievements but the only thing I've got is a coupon. It's been at least four hours and no gifts.

did you actually get the orcs must die achievement? I had to redo the first level after I unlocked the Arrow Wall to get it.
EDIT: also does anyone want HL2:DM? I've had it as a gift for a while (because it was a duplicate), and if someone wants to trade a not valve coupon for it then msg me on steam.
Well I got the Orange Box, I'm planning to give it to a friend for a early Christmas present even thought he has the PS3 version. If not, I will put it up on Steamgifts.
SO I just got free HL2: EP2.
Too bad I already own it, and its trade value is nil. :(
