While I don't think it should be as easy as putting on a tabard and grinding dungeons for a few hours, I also don't think it should be as required as it is right now. Hell, we have to get to revered with Golden Lotus to even start rep grind for The August Celestials..

Im not that much of a fan of being forced into dailys, but I hate the tabard shit, but that blue post talks about both and why its not the tabard anymore.
But at least doing dailys also get you coins for extra loot rolls.

Yeah, I was going to mention that, but at the same time, it's really only good for people with alts. You have to get revered with a faction. Once at revered, you can now purchase all their gear but not mounts/tabards. You then get increased rep gain with that faction and so does your alts. The increased rep gain isn't all that useful unless you want the exalted vanity items or you have alts. I just don't like having to rep grind for the valor gear, but at the same time it hardly matters because you can only get 1k valor a week.

I dont know how else rep would get gained.
Vanillas rep gaining was bad because most of it required just farming random mobs for low rep, using the tabards+dungeons is dumb, requires no effort.
I think Dailys are really the only way, you get gold, and those charms that can be built into grand ones that let you try and get an extra piece of loot so thats pretty good.
