you mean 70% of facepunch is closet hipsters? Because if I am already 70% water then where does all that other shit fit in.
In your closet, clearly.
The game wasnt my thing at all, tbh i found it boring and uninspired but it was made by 1 guy so what can you really expect
Also people, stop calling people that disagree with your opinion a "hipster" please
It's not a really horrible game as the general Facepunch population makes it out to be. I found the writing to be amusing and even laughable at some times.
The only main gripe I have with this game is in it late stage where once you're past the level cap and fighting DLC enemies, the game becomes a chore since the enemies take too much time to kill.
I enjoyed Borderlands the Pre-Sequel albeit more even though its short, but I'm afraid that it'll become crazy boring as B2 once the DLC expansions roll around.
Not to mention it's kind of more of the same. I understand that many sequels nowadays are merely iterative, but BL2 just didn't seem to change all that much even as an iterative sequel. And don't even get me started on the Pre-Sequel, none of the changes that we really hoped for came into play.
SLightly off-topic: there's a terrible FNAF Gmod gamemode that I attempted to play yesterday to see how terrible it was. I couldn't play it all too well, and it was in fact terrible

What gamemode might this be? Unless you're referring to the map.
Are you seriously implying the scares in FNAF aren't jump scares?
They aren't.
The main "hook" of FNAF, the big creative thing that it does, is that all of the scares are fail states that can be prevented by the player. That builds suspense, creating a pretty fun and frightening game. The game is all about the suspense created by the player trying to prevent the jumpscare from taking place. The longer you play, the more and more that suspense builds on the player, because it is entirely your responsibility to avoid fucking up. If you fuck up, the jumpscare will happen. That makes you more anxious. The more anxious you are, the more likely you are to fuck up, thus the scare is more likely to come. It's a big loop of building suspense until either you succeed or you fail.
Watching it on YouTube is a completely different experience from actually playing it. Of COURSE it's a different experience. The game is about the player's interaction with the game almost exclusively, because everything is in the player's hands.
It's two bucks. Even if you're a fedora-tipping hipster that hates things just because they're popular, you can pony up two bucks to try it. It's really quite good.

If only there were more diversity than "boo jumpscare". But I guess it's a good thrill for a cheap buck.
If only there were more diversity than "boo jumpscare". But I guess it's a good thrill for a cheap buck.
If I could change one thing about the game, it would be having more of a death scene than jumpscare then Game Over screen
Maybe something like System Shock's game over screen

For $5 I really can't complain though. It's pretty atmospheric.
it's a fun little game, I played some of it on my phone and near the end it almost gets down to "fuck, did that thing just disappear from the last camera? -> if yes, check the light" and in some cases, the only thing I do is alternate the light switches until the timer runs out. you're going to end up hitting those switches/using the camera a lot, especially in the later levels, where those robot things run fucking everywhere, but at least they're for the most part predictable.
for $2.50, it's worth it. 6 levels and a custom level thing I think? if you made it through the whole game without dying you could probably finish it in an hour or so. but trust me, somebody who isn't aware of the mechanics of the game are gonna die sooner or later.
don't get me wrong, this isn't the best horror-themed game of the year or anything, but it's pretty fun for what it is. it's like you're playing logic with these robot things.
also I totally scored a copy of this with the humble bundle I just bought.

You couldn't buy it on steam at first, back when the game was getting hyped to hell you had to buy it on some other site which I totally forgot. They could had of always bought it then.
also what makes you so sure that they actually "bought' it?

Well I hear that if you get it illegally, a jumpscare will happen when you try to play it, it's a thing devs do to counter illegal torrenting.

I'm not good at Dark Souls just because I watched a speedrun.
Yeah, I don't really get the hate. I mean, I first heard about it on /v/ like two days after it first appeared on Greenlight, and people seemed pretty impressed with the concept.
The fanbase got toxic pretty quick, and good impressions turned to hatred soon after.

FNAF is not an exclusive steam release. And even then, there's way to get around trying it... if you know what I mean.
Stop embarassing yourself
You know the game's on (at least) Android phones, right?
game came out on PC first, I don't see why avid PC gamers would opt to buy a game for a phone instead

Right ? :v:
Also the game was on sale on Desura for like two or three weeks before being greenlit.

I've got the android version for being cheaper at the time and made a bit more sense playing it using a touch screen.
