Considering it's an Xbox One exclusive, probably not.
They were throwing that word around so much in the conference. Sure they said that Titanfall game was exclusive and it's coming to PC.
why's it so hard for them to create another awesome and badass main character like Frank West?!?
I can't wait for Dead Rising 3: Off The Record 2 when they bring back Chuck Greene.
Would be awesome if they just showed us gritty footage but the game is all about making fun of it with a cynic asshole main character.
You'd think a dead rising sequel wouldn't be hard to make. Just add more zombies, dumber weapons, an even stupider story and the think of the silliest situations possible to put survivors in. Don't forget the kickass psychopath music and hall music everywhere else and you're set. So far they fucked up a on lot of those points.
It has about as much soul as the zombies.
This is just Dead Island but worse, no humour and with a different name. Not the Dead Rising I love and was hoping for.
why's it so hard for them to create another awesome and badass main character like Frank West?!?
I personally thought Chuck Greene was just as badass, if not even more. This character may whine a lot in the gameplay. But who knows, maybe he wont be as whiny later on?
I'm glad it's not going in a Saints Row direction though, the first Dead Rising hit a perfect spot between being able to do silly and crazy things while still having a pretty serious scenario and storyline for the most part.
Mixed feelings. It some areas it's made huge improvements on a technical level; on the other hand it seems to miss everything that makes Dead Rising "Dead Rising". Either way, insanely sad that's it's exclusive to Xbox One, because it's very unlikely I'll ever get to play it for myself.
Game looks alright to me. A bit rough, sure but that's mostly cause it appears scripted. I'm sure there will be some comedic elements still in there (else... that's just not a Dead Rising game. >.<). Though I wonder if they will fully voice all the NPCs this time rather than the usually text boxes. I really hope a PC version will come out eventually. Seems Capcom is a bit more willing with PC versions these days (even dropped GFWL). Well, at least with their zombie games.
and so capcom continues their streak of completely failing to grasp why their successful franchises were successful
Can't wait to get this on Steam
You know, I guess it's a good thing they're exploring a different direction. yes, gritty is cliche, but I haven't found a serious zombie survival, game that played as well as Dead Rising, so who knows this may turn out well. I doubt I'll like it as much as the other two but considering we're always harping about rehash sequels I guess we should be at least somewhat satisfied. Let's just wait and see.
Graphics look like shit. So many new games look like shit, the only thing that had me saying this is next gen was Ryse, and that is possible on PC already. Looks like the cheapest crappiest zombie game that got a trailer in the recent weeks.
because graphics totally make a good game, right?
no strip poker 0/10
Wait it's xbone exclusive? Fuck you very much Capcom...
I'M GOING TO URANUS ZONE!
Wait it's xbone exclusive? Fuck you very much Capcom...
They could just mean in terms of next gen consoles. Remember, Microsoft's trying to pull people in. PC gaming is a seperate entity from console wars and isn't necessarily going to be considered in statements like that, since basically the only options to the casual audience they're addressing are consoles
