You should be able to play a game when you buy it? This man is a genius.
It's kind of irritating to see that something so stupidly obvious is mentioned on a news site just because it's a famous developer saying it

The developers care about making video games. Most developers are tied up with a publisher, who finance and often control the general directions of the game.

When you're buying a game just to play a "Mod" of a game. That's impressive. I'm looking forward to playing the standalone of this game.

I didn't play too much, though. Yet I still had a great time and I can see that DayZ really has a huge lot of potential. I think these guys will do an awesome job.
