It's not the developers that care about money. The developers care about making video games. Most developers are tied up with a publisher, who finance and often control the general directions of the game.

I actually did that as well. I didn't play too much, though. Yet I still had a great time and I can see that DayZ really has a huge lot of potential. I think these guys will do an awesome job.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about because I was awful at Arma II and I've loved DayZ since I started playing it
