If they don't fuck this movie up it might be the one thing worthwhile coming out of it all
found footage of just the security cams [editline]4th July 2017[/editline] that'd actually suck ass imo if they actually did it (found footage), make this more like chopping mall or westworld or something. I'm kinda thinking there's no way they'd ever pull off the security room 24/7 angle
Honestly, i'm completely expecting FNaF's refusal to die to bleed into other Steam games, probably in the form of Payday 2 masks or a Kill Freddy mission DLC. Either way, FNaF 6 is definitely gonna happen due to being pretty much as immortal as internet memes can be
PAYDAY 2 masks would annoy me about as much as the rageface masks but an abandoned low-light chuck e cheese type thing would be a sweet map to play. Running through with flickering lights and pounding bass with small corridors everywhere would be slick. I really like the theme of FNaF but the fanbase and games post the first few are kinda what turns me off.
I don't get all the hate. They're decent enough and theyre hardly ten bucks. In the very least they're not cramming down day one dlcs and massive bloated marketing campaigns down our throats.

And you can always ignore the games past the first few, or look up the highest rated ones to try

They progressively build upon themselves in a manner consistent with how sequels should evolve.

The fanbase doesn't affect how the game plays, which isn't very good later in the series, but it affects who I'd talk to about it, which is mostly not people I want to be associated with.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't associate yourself with those people anyway. And that's your opinion that they stopped being interesting, I really enjoyed FNaF 5, I thought it was quite an interesting change in the series
